Gigs announced this morning .
September 9th & 10th .
I'm wondering same, have 2 spare seated I bought for family who can't attend.
Aiken really leaving no stone unturned with the plans for these concerts. Press conferences with the plans, early social media announcements etc. There really doing the homework this time round and no doubt got the residents on board
Almost a bit of tongue and cheek after the 2014 debacle
Have two tickets for this on the 17th but not sure I'll go. Is it sold out or would I have to sell the tickets at a loss if I dont go?
Seems to be a good few people not able to go and selling tickets now. I've seen a good few on facebook and emails at work. Most are asking for face value or close to.
Have 2 spares for the 1st night some family unable to make it if I sell I sell if not 🤷♂️
It was confirmed there will be no support act any of the nights. Gates will open at 5pm and the show is due to start at 7.30pm. A curfew of 10.30pm will be in place.
Early queuing will not be permitted in the streets around the venue.
Tonnes are available on Toutless. Prices are getting lower as it gets closer to the gigs. I saw there were going there for €40 a ticket.
Gigs are definitely not sold out. As it gets even closer to the dates, prices will reduce even further I would imagine.
Yeah loads on Facebook too
That Ticketmaster traffic jam last November was fueled by hysteria but as siad plenty of times it's the lay of the land here for big gigs
There is a massive number of tickets for sale for these concerts. Seen loads of adverts over the last couple of weeks.
I know some people's plans may have changed and they can no longer go, but I'd say many bought to tout them on for profit. I hope those folk are left with them unsold.
I'd also say many fans want to go but can't get a place to stay the night.
cheers thanks, sounds like Id have to sell at a loss. Will play it by ear but reckon I might go now!
I'd say it could be a lot to do with the crazy hotel prices alright. I'll be driving up and down myself anyway, no way could I justify paying that.
Us going could be part of history if it is in fact the 'biggest concert series in Ireland'
Was it 4 shows by U2 for the 360 tour?
3 shows...More overseas fans at them than there was Irish people
Hi
Thinking of letting the Car at Red Cow Park & Ride
If Concert finishes at 10.30 from what I can see on Luas website last tram Westbound from Abbey St is 12.40am
About 2 x hours to get to Tram after Concert is this doable considering crowds or would I be better off parking in Stephens Green SC car park open 24/7
Any suggestions appreciated
Thanks
2 hours is more than enough time to get to the red cow, but the luas will be rammed with people heading to heuston, so it's really a toss up.
Thanks for the reply
I'm parking at the Convention Centre but I'm heading North so it's easy for me to get into the port tunnel. Hopefully won't be too much traffic around the Point at the Aslan gig.
Red Cow Park and Ride sounds like an appropriate place to get to a cowboy concert from..
Really they should turn that into a thing.
🤣
Peter Aiken said only 18% of the tickets for the concerts were sold in Dublin, so alot will be travelling.
Latest pics of the stage up on twitter from today it's definitely not in the middle of the crowd like the alexa stage on the US tour. Does look like a long pathway could come out similar to the set up the rolling stones had

Knew I definitely heard it wasn't going to be in the round like the North American tour
Looking forward to seeing it Friday
Going by twitter Garth and the misses arrived in Ireland today. In the same tag line (#garthinireland) saw this. Really grinds my gears, let people enjoy themselves and mind your OFB
does the American style set up allow potential to be within touching distance of Garth…..imagine the excitement of being so close that one could almost contract covid if he sneezed 🤧 or coughed…….!!
Think I would have preferred an in the round stage tbh!
Stalks her Twitter, copies her tweet, posts tweet here when no one would have seen it otherwise, tells her to mind her business.....
What's the point anymore
You're the one who gets onto me about 'you living rent free in my head' but how come almost everything I post you need to come on and contradict it. I make mistakes and I admit it but ffs I'm only human and entitled to post here like you and everyone else. Ffs drop it
Garth would have a tear in his eye if he read people arguing on a thread about his show. He would want us to 'share the love and to dance'
What an utterly weird thing to say, just not how a normal human thinks.
boards is not real life
Can you please just leave me alone for once and stop trying to be a smart arse
Is it going to be a sh1t-show this weekend regarding getting in to the concert?
Many people were getting tickets for different nights hoping that their friends/others would also get tickets.
I got 8 tickets for this Friday but a friend got tickets for Friday week so am going to that concert. Sold, at face value the other tickets and sent screenshots and paper tickets to the buyer and they are panicking that they wont get in as they have heard that the tickets need to be in your "wallet".
Got the email last night about putting ticket into an Android wallet from the app so it doesn't use data to look up the tickets at the entrance.
Thats just the official line from Ticketmaster.
The QR codes don't rotate in Ireland so a screenshot will work fine.
The stewards don't even look at the tickets, they just scan them.
In time we may see Dynamic QR codes introduced but it wont be anytime soon.
