I know they used a lot so far and I realise ukraine blew up a lot of ammo dumps but even conservative estimates reckoned they'd enough to last until the end of next year.

Either way it will not be convenient transporting all that ammo across the entire country and NK won't sell enough that would last for much longer. They need plenty for themselves. This is actually very good news.

Re Tricking people with fake accounts into revealing location. Forces have been using that sort of trick for a while. My favorite is the use of Tinder. It gives you a distance right there on the screen. Easy to triangulate.

As for T72 fording speed, can't find anything official but videos seem to show a good 10-15 km/h. It's a tank, after all, overpowered with lots of grip. Driver has a gyrocompass to keep him straight. That said, i have noted the lack of known fording operations anywhere in this war. It It seems a little used feature, certainly the Americans stopped requiring the capability in the 1970s. I am not sure the British ever had it, and though the German tanks can theoretically still do it, I am at a loss to think of the last time it was ever exercised.
Depleting North Korea is no bad thing, although at Ukraine’s expense. All the more reason to support Ukraine.

Putin isn't making gains. Ukraine will wear them down with superior fire power overtime. Zelenskiy has reiterated today there will be no deal with terrorists. I also don't think Ukraine will lose the backing of Germany no matter how bad it gets there. Yer man Kadyrov seems to have stepped down. The 3 day special operation to denazi Ukraine will probably end in chaos in Russia.
I suspect there is also a degree of physiological operations at play here too. By alerting the entire peninsula to be prepared for an offensive they might be hoping to seed an impression into the Russian troops that if they ever need to retreat, that pulling back to just Crimea won't be enough. Perhaps the hope is that panicking Russians bugging out of position will run right over the Kersk bridge and back over to Russia. Thus making the job of getting Crimea back a smidige more possible.

The Russian deaths in Ukraine passed out Soviet deaths in Afganistan many many months ago 14,500 Soviets killed there over a decade and that was one of the big reasons for the collapse of The Soviet Union.
When certain people make claims that the Russians military will prevail longer than the will of the EU to sustain an energy war they really should look at what the USSR losses in The Afgan did to Russian will and then remember that this war is killing Russians a multiplier of 30 to 50 times faster.
