And there’s plenty of gas in Europe itself, we CHOSE to ban fracking tech and rely on Russia

You're ignoring that Biden is the leader of the coalition and by far and away the biggest contributor to the war effort. Why would he need to drop sanctions? The European energy situation doesn't impact on him in the slightest.
