Not really their being sent stuff were not using and is obsolete in the USA. They have not even been given the good stuff yet.
There’s 950bcm of gas in Germany alone, that’s 15 years at their current use rate
What do you think is more likely
I hope you are right but i fear you are wrong.
Let's see how this plays out.
I don't think there's going to be blackouts and frequent outages. Europe will get through this, even if it means swapping one awful regime for another (Iran now wants to save the day...if sanctions are dropped)
And that's something iv'e been arguing for weeks now, why isn't Ukraine being backed to the full extent by the EU?
Simple because they were being trained by the UK and USA for years. The Equipment being given is far beyond the Russians. Their even beating them with older soviet kit. Soldiers are the most important commodity. No point giving grunts shiney weapons that go bang when they don't know how to use them. Their also being further trained on A10s and stuff like that F16s also IIRC.
I find it curious as to why some people think that dropping the sanctions means we go back to cheap gas. If the sanctions go, and we go on bended knee to Russia for their gas, I bet every cubic inch of said gas will be sold at a price comparable to now as we'd basically be begging to take it up the rear from Putin and co.
Putin has done us a favour and forced off his tit
Good man Valeriy

You're ignoring that Biden is the leader of the coalition and by far and away the biggest contributor to the war effort. Why would he need to drop sanctions? The European energy situation doesn't impact on him in the slightest.
Exactly their taking out a what was thought to be a rival power for pennies vs what they spent in Afghanistan. They would be mad to stop sending now.
October target of 85% met. November target looks unlikely.
Hard to save gas when supply is reduced to nothing
Russia doesn’t have a monopoly on gas, only 5% German gas in august came from Russia…
And there’s plenty of gas in Europe itself, we CHOSE to ban fracking tech and rely on Russia
Even if the gas is off that's it. Short term pain for long term gain. EU is slow to learn sometimes but it does and won't be caught out again. The worst that will happen is industry will have to scale back Homes should never be affected in this situation due to bad planning.
Stupid question.
Whats to stop Russia just adding fake billions to replace lost gas revenue into their bank they use to pay for things???
Stupid question, but was always told the most stupid question is the one you don’t ask:)
Not a hope did he shoot down an su34 with a shotgun.
I remember similar claims from Iraq and elsewhere when farmers shot down Apache gunships to fast jets
I know your giddy at the thought but there is more than one pipeline and there are other supply options such a LNG
Same thing stopping you from inventing billions? Who will take your imaginary billions … or roubles for that matter
You end up like Zimbabwe or other places.
Cant rem what one keeps printing money
Others catch on to what is happening and it just dilutes the value of the currency. Citizens savings are hammered and inflation rockets for consumers in shops. Tends to make the government unpopular, unless done at a very slow rate. As per quantitative easing and so on.
it will be back to the good old days of millions of ruble for a loaf of bread.
So… You get your wet dream, Europe bends over for Russia… the US does what?
Deluded
cant wait for you to abandon your account and slink back to whatever fevered dream you imagine next when Russia is routed.
How is it my wet dream? I'm playing devils advocate asking questions and proposing scenarios. Stop being silly.
Have you missed the parts of my posts that critic Putin?
The US isn't going to change course i never said they would. Im talking Europe here and it's immediate needs.
Don't hold your breath my friend.
Well they've played their hand now, not much is else in reserve other than the nuke threat which has been thrown out a few times already. How quickly can Europe and EU leaders in particular agree on one final throttling set of sanctions with no loop holes? It's open economic war.
Absolutely. Now is the time for Europe to grow a set and finish the pint sized botox faced fool off once and for all .
Just as well it’s still getting gas from Russia then. Bloody wishful thinking of some 🤬
Invade and occupy Belarus then bomb the **** out of Moscow
Thanks for the answers.
So hopefully Russia are basically fucked.
It’s okay to criticise Putin, as long as you do Russian bidding of spreading doubt.
Saying countries are going to give in to Russia is an insult to our intelligence.
