You don't need any scientific knowledge to be absolutely certain that sputnik, moon landings and every other space mission in between or since was not faked.
That USSR and USA both believed what each other were doing and not calling out the other side as faking it is all the proof you need.

Why do you believe these people over the countless doctors and other experts who don't buy into the impossible conspiracy theory?
There's is a person with a PhD who thinks energy weapons were used to bring down the Twin Towers. There are historians who have denied the Holocaust. There are always individuals with extreme beliefs, some of whom even have qualifications.
The key point is to look at his theory itself, does he lay it out from A to Z. As in, it was shot in this studio, by these people, at this time and here is how they did all this - with supporting evidence for that?

It's very hard to fake signals such that they appear to all observers to come from the same moving spacecraft. Receivers are cheaper than transmitters. The second moon bounce was by Hungarians in 1946 so there's a long history of picking up weak signals from there.
Note: There were no computers or silicon chips in Hungry that soon after WWII. I surprised there was anything after the Germans and Soviets plundered anything of value.

Imagine there are only one thousand biologists in the world. 999 of them, through papers, evidence, research conclude that a blue whale is mammal. One of them, through their own research, states that a blue whale is a type of fish.
In that scenario, the consensus of the experts who know most in the world about biology, is that a blue whale is a mammal.
Doesn't matter how many of them try to convince that last one, that individual refuses to change their minds.

There are always quacks, cranks, outliers, contrarians. Always. There are individual scholars who believe the world is flat, there are individual scientists who believe the world is only 6,000 years old, there are individual physicians who believe vaccines are "poison", there are engineers who believe 9/11 was an inside job. There have always been, and will always be, individuals with qualifications who have fringe beliefs or extreme blind spots.
For a simple subject like whether we landed on the moon, it's a no-brainer, we did. That's the overwhelming consensus.
There are other tighter subjects, whereby debate is split, but those rarely ever appear on this forum

Some individuals don't care about evidence, they just have a "feeling" we didn't land on the moon, and that some conspiracy happened. When asked what the conspiracy is, they can't provide any credible evidence or details of it. They don't care about that. All they know is that the evidence and experts are "stupid", they are right, everyone else is wrong.
Have you ever seen any conspiracy theorist here ever admit to being wrong? I haven't. Some people just believe stupid things out of sheer spite or belligerence. That's fine. However when they come to a public forum and air such views they may find that not everyone agrees.
Likewise if someone goes to a football forum and starts claiming the 1966 world cup final didn't really happen, they'll get the same response. In fact, they'll get the same response anywhere.
