The unfortunate reality here is that Russia knows full well they only have to wait until populations in Europe feel serious pain this winter as a result of the energy squeeze and support will wilt for the Ukranians.
I don't see a way around this. The fact is Europe's dependency on Russian energy, particularly Germany, has left the continent in a really precarious state.
What's even more annoying is some of this is self inflicted over many years now, mindlessly following the green agenda, power plants being closed all over the place, restrictions on extraction of national resources and an increasing reliance on Russian energy have brought us to this point.

A lot of the protesters where there for cost of living others were demanding a withdrawal from the EU and Nato while signing back up to Russian gas supplies bit of a tell there .
They have several options available , depending on what and whats deployed, there's been at least 8 helicopters downed over the last few days,from the latest attack helicopters and mil- 8s I believe.
It's possible they are using helicopters to drop supplies,I personally haven't seen any evidence of it ,but if you look at Siege of Mariupol the Ukrainans were flying helicopters in with supplies and taken out casualties, right up to the Azoztal surrender,

I don't believe they could hit those helicopters when they are in flight from where they are now (especially since they would likely be flying at low altitudes). Instead the targets would likely be what is being dropped off at the airport using drones to guide HIMARs and artillery.
Russians reporting Bayraktar are being actively used in the northern part of Kherson that they occupy. Ukraine wouldn't deploy TB-2 here if there wasn't a hole in air defense over the region.
Big question over the next few days is whether Russia will try to re-enforce the area, or whether they pull back to more defensible lines.

You are right the German greens to their credit have acknowledged the issue, our lot on other hand are at the denial stage
We still have zero gas storage and no LNG terminals being built (opposed by Eamon not to long ago) and no discussion about extraction of several hundred bcm (10-20 years) of gas right here in Ireland
It might be a completely stupid statement about the continental Green parties (I don't know enough to say) but IMO there is a grain of truth in there about the Irish greens even if it is totally exaggerated + over the top. I think from listening (to Ryan), he doesn't seem very fussed about all this, perhaps sees it as a kind of necessary & timely shock therapy (courtesy of Putin's warmongering) that will drive forward renewables here, and I get the impression there is no way in hell Irish Greens are going to stand over any investments in fossil fuel security (LNG terminals, storage, new explorations). They will collapse this govt. and/or see Ireland just disregard any EU directives on energy security etc. first.
They (Irish Green Party) do seem to be different IMO, quite right wing + conservative which is odd (a sort of FF-FG for people that care about nature and the environment + will vote on their beliefs), also kind of luddite - they see the main answer to environmental degradation (including climate change) in rejecting high technology and complex infrastructure and simplifying + a return to a lower intensity, lower population ideal past rather than new technologies. They are suspicious of these IMO, that is the instinct (to look for all the risks/dangers of things like [to give 2 examples] nuclear power generation, waste incineration).

There are fringe elements, as there are in most political leanings, and the anti-nuclear stance is indefensible and Russia has certainly played them to their advantage - as they have with many movements. Of course the Green Party in Germany is now the most vocal in their support of Ukraine and anti-Russia stance, as one incredibly obvious counterpoint to the "cheering for Putin" crap
There are elements of the Environmental movement that and absolutely creaming themselves at the thought of Europe de-industrialising and people dying hence reducing carbon footprint.
There are other elements that are directly funded by Putin such as the several hundred million that went into German “climate” group from Gazprom
