This dude's been just about banned from every social media site/app. Not good for him at all.
What does everyone else think of this controversial character?
Multi Level Marketing - should look it up, might enlighten you, Tate there girlbossed a bit too hard.
Probably because he can live vicariously through his hero; dreaming about abusing women and acting like a scumbag with impunity.
I dont know what MLM means. I've already explained why I posted. Anything else?
why are you fangirling so hard for some jumped up MLM guy - its bizarre.
First things first, Starfire20 brought up free speech, so check your facts.
Secondly, CGI_Whatever_Whatever said that he is a sex trafficker even though he hasn't been convicted of anything... ever. That is slanderous.
Prove me wrong... bro.
You sure did tell me, pure alpha bro. Stating a fact isn't slander, he is currently being investigated, wheater you believe it to be made up or a fake tip-off doesn't make it slander.
I actually didn't introduce free speech into the conversation. I just dealt with the point raised by another poster by pointing out that Free Speech doesn't mean you can speak without consequence, specifically relating to 'slander' laws.
Maybe you should... d0 yOuR oWn ReSeArCh?
You're the one that brought up American terms
Hahaha I do think he should have children! Might make him mature a bit!
I don't think it's cowardly or woke to criticise Tate. I just think it should be done based on the facts, not on misrepresentations of what he has said and who he is. If people want to criticise what he has actually said, fine. I dont agree with everything he says, and I think his hyperbole works against him at times. It bugs me that people trust articles quoting youtube videos that have "since been removed". So an unverifiable source? And I'm guessing it wasn't AT who removed the video, but the journalist wont tell you that, he'll let your imagination fill in the blanks.
I've seen too much ideological nonsense about men from the media in the past decade to take what they say at face value.
His form of masculinity is in demand for a reason, and rather than try deal with that reason, gatekeepers try to paint him as the devil. Where have we seen that before?
Any man (any) who criticises Tate is cowardly/woke (couldn't be anything else) and an ideal male role model besides him could only be Harry Styles. No other options at all.
Evidence of Tate's behaviour is posted, but nope, still defended - just because he's bad-ass and edgy (this is how 13-year-olds think). He and his brother scammed countless men - but defend him? View him as a good role model for lads?
Lads, ye are the indoctrinated ones. And I'd have thought Undividual would be angry about him not having children.
Out of interest, do you know whether they had any contact before those tweets?
Yeah, completely agree.
Men are looking for role models, because our own fathers didn't see that they were sleepwalking into a society that held them (and their sons) in contempt. Some choose to look to an outspoken, unapologetic, critical, self-made, confident, dare-I-even-say 'brave' man.
I dont think AT is the second coming of Christ, but I shudder to think what you believe a male role-model should be. Harry Styles?
Imagine taking an obvious joke literally.
What does this have to do with Ireland?...
Ok. Now show me where he said it.
You're telling me the journalist decided to put "about 40 percent" in quotation marks (a far less interesting quote), but thought that him saying he was migrating to avoid rape allegations was not worthy of being quoted? Use your common sense. To believe journalists have journalistic integrity in 2022 is insane.
I think whats more likely is that 40% of the reason AT moved to Romania was after the British police had assumed he was guilty when they took him in for questioning, despite all eye-witnesses corroborating his account, and went out of their way to disrupt his business. Again, he wasn't prosecuted and has been back in the UK since those allegations were made.
What context would make the tweet to that father of an ill child look more understandable?
Weird to defend him.
"in a now deleted YouTube video, Tate claimed that “about 40 per cent” of the reason he moved to Romania is that he believed police in Eastern Europe would be less likely to pursue rape allegations."
The Bros coming out to defend Tate lol
Side note we don't have an article on "Freedom of Speech" in the Irish Constitution, we have Freedom of Expression, at least know the name of the article (40.6.1.i) before telling someone d0 yOuR oWn research.
You’d have to have special needs.
A special need for a father figure, that is.
That’s what I always say to the lost wastrels who look up to grifters like him, Musk, Bezos, Rogan, and Peterson: be your own Daddy. Be the hero to your own story, don’t worship conmen who wouldn’t piss on you if you were on fire.
“I do know how to administer CPR. However, I will not administer CPR unless you’re a hot female… If you’re some fat dude and you just had a heart attack and I don’t really know you, you’re gonna die… No, not even if you’re a friend… If you’re my friend, you just can’t be a p*ssy. ‘Well, I had a heart attack’, get the f*ck up. F*cks wrong with you. Go hospital later. Have a drink, cigarette, cup of coffee, back in the game. F*cking having heart attacks near me, you little p*ssy.”
Imagine how utterly thick you'd have to be to want to listen to this guy and swallow his bullshit.
That gave me a good laugh. There's nothing quite like confident ignorance...
Maybe look up what Freedom of Speech is before embarrassing yourself again.
He’ll sue me for slander, will he? So much for freedom of speech. 🤣
Ah, you're a troll, or what people used to call a 'coward'.
He could literally sue you for slander for calling him a sex trafficker.
I would have hoped after the Johnny Depp trial that people would pause before jumping to conclusions.
One advantage Tate has is that you can’t break his jaw, like he broke a woman’s jaw, because he doesn’t have one.
I can’t criticise a sex trafficker’s appearance? Boo hoo, snowflake. ❄️
Exactly my point. Maybe re-read what I said:
Why didn't the author have "because police are less likely to investigate sexual assault cases" in quotation marks? Could it be because he never said that?
I think it's a bare-faced lie to say that "He said he'd like to be able to get away with it". Show me where he said that and I'll wire you 100 EUR today.
So. Do you know how quotation marks work? they're for quotes. He said he'd like to be able to get away with it.
He also said about the womans who's jaw he broke that he "got away with it"
And yes, he hasn't been charged with sex trafficking..... yet. Police have expanded the original investigation and they're still investigating.
The guy also admitted to running internet scams. He's complete and utter scum.
So... he was found innocent of bodily harm against a woman. Do you think he shouldn't have been? I believe he said he was fighting 2 or 3 men in a club, and she was trying to hit him, and got in the way. God knows if thats exactly what happened, but I do trust the UK legal system.
And... he was also never charged with sex trafficking. I believe police showed up to his house to investigate based off a tip. That could easily have been some troll on the internet making an anonymous call to the police station. Happens to Tim Pool all the time.
Some very selective quotation in that paragraph. Why didn't the author have "because police are less likely to investigate sexual assault cases" in quotation marks? Could it be because he never said that? Very suspect, in my opinion. Hypothetically, even if that was the reason he left Britain, do you think he'd be stupid enough to say that... in an interview? Goes against Occam's Razor.
"While he was gaining influence in far-right circles, Tate was also accused of violence against multiple women. In an episode of “The Pomp Podcast” released this month, he openly discussed hitting a woman and breaking her jaw during a bar fight. He said he “ended up in court” after he was charged with causing “bodily harm,” but “got away with it in the end.” He said he was found innocent. In a now-deleted YouTube video, Tate said that he’s “not a ... rapist,” but “probably 40% of the reason” he relocated to Romania is because police are less likely to investigate sexual assault cases. In another video, The Guardian reported, Tate said he was investigated and held in custody for two days for allegedly abusing a woman in the U.K. He denied allegations of abuse."
You can google this stuff.
Show me where he said he moved to Romania because of "its more lax stance on sexual assault". That's quite difficult to believe, even from a self-preservation perspective.
Agreed. A balance is preferable.
