Back around 2007/08 Putin had his first summit with Angela merkel. His handlers informed him that she was afraid of dogs after getting bitten as a child. Putin turned up to the summit with a big Alsatian hound and let it loose around the room with Merkel.
Putin knows we are afraid of nuclear disasters so putting nuclear plants in jeopardy is like letting the Alsatian hound loose with Merkel.
edit: it was a big black Labrador
Interesting use of the word "literally".
Where in that sentence is there a mention of Germany or France, admiration for Putin or a suggestion that Ukraine will be forced to negotiate?
You made all that up, correct?
Nobody really knows what's going on on the ground there. Both sides using massive amounts of propaganda. I do find it suspicious with massive amounts of satellite technology and other such stuff we've seen zero evidence from the west of Russia firing at the plant on purpose. It just doesn't add up. Unfortunately some of the usual suspects on here will indeed call you a putinbot for even posing the question.
Haven't heard that story before. The man is truly despicable
Was I not just looking at satellite imagery of Russia build up at the plant a few weeks ago and even today's reports mention the IAEA having to cross into Russia held territory to inspect the plant. They are currently negotiating with the Ukrainians for passage.
I don't see any reason why Russia would shell the plant considering they have armored vehicles and soldiers in the site, or have all those reports been incorrect? Who holds the plant?
Half of Europe is very strongly behind Ukraine, the ones dithering and dragging feet for 6months now are France and Germany
So once again according to you the “cold winter” will cause countries to “break ranks”
It is reasonable to assume that this would happen to those countries who are not enthusiastically supporting Ukraine and who do not feel under existential threat from Russia
so once again let’s say country X in Europe “breaks ranks”
Then what? Go on spell it out
The Russian's most certainly hold the plant that's about the height of all we know at present. It's plausible that they would fire shells at certain non vital buildings within the vast facility and blame it on Ukraine. It's also possible Ukraine would do likewise and blame it on Russia.
It must warm your heart though Francie to read:
"But among the injured, the doctor said he was most struck by their desire to continue fighting as soon as they are physically able."
Well then the Russians should be welcoming them in with open arms and not trying to shell them too .
But as we know Russia is doing the exact opposite, Russia said they had no weapons at the site ,images proved other wise,
Russia said that there was no weapons or explosives inside the plant video and images showed weapons, vehicles full of munitions and explosives around the plant .
And you think the IAEA will support russia,
Sure I'll expand on what breaking ranks will entail as soon as you admit that you were just making stuff up.
No, I think that the IAEA will come to the truth, whatever that may be. There is a binary chance that Ukraine is doing the shelling - or that the Russians are. I just want to know if you will believe the IAEA if they come to a conclusion you dont like.
oh I’m sure most of his admirers thought he was a ‘right lad’ for doing it.
Eh? I would like to see this all over, I would like to see Ukraine win.
Tanks on the streets of Enerhodar
If they come out that .
Why would I not believe them ,
When it comes to Ukraine and Russia over the last 8 years I've pretty much spot on when it comes to it ,
True , but the french don't seem to have many reserves of ceaser ,and the pzh 2000 keeps throwing fault codes ..(I think they've a load ordered ) , I assume more automation probably means more systems to go wrong ,
Looks like something is happening with the Russian at Zaporizhzhia ,
Don't think they we have anything to worry about from the Ukrainans do we .
Lol 😂
.a
The rumor cropping up today (which could easily be nonsense invented by the Russians), is that a crack commando team of Ukrainians have made a daring crossing of the Dnipro and are now in Zaporizhzhia trying to sabotasje the Russians.
The tanks reported in the town today might be a reaction to an actual event, or just theater to dress around this if it has been invented.
Since Ukraine are wisely keeping quiet about their gains, there's going to be this fog of war about the situation for quite some time. It might be that there is an actual attack, which is prompting Rosatom to get out of there; but we probably won't know for months.
looks like D Day has arrived
These reports are all very unlikely considering the UN inspectors have just arrived at the site.
Lot's of rumours about what's happening at the plant. Read on Twitter one of the reactors has been shelled and is offline but who knows. Would be a huge bonus if somehow NATO can get it's forces on the ground and get a grip on the situation pronto.
Looking at how they brainwash kids, the 3 reich starting to ring a bell.
Pretty much sums it up
Looks like Putins reinforcements are on its way, hope Ukraine manage to keep them out of Kherson by taking out bridges, pontoon bridges, barges and ferries crossing.
Ukraine is up against it
They have lost 60% of their entire tank fleet in Ukraine in 7 months, spectacular losses.
The biggest loss of tanks since WW2
And most of the Saudi hand and head choppers. Good few suicide bombers too. Seems a very mellowing experience for them all.
Looks like it yes,and Russia will have problems getting tanks in storage operational due to the sanctions and lack of spareparts.
