New season of Gogglebox Ireland starts next Wednesday, August 31st on VMOne.
I hope they do a nice few episodes of it this time!
Have we any newbies?
No I don't think so.
A few families missing but maybe next week.
Decent enough episode I thought.
Are dale and dawn back they are the best.
They are yes.
What are people making of this series?
I found the 2nd episode much better than the 1st. I still prefer the english gogglebox though and looking forward to its return.
Back tonight - am wondering will the families be filming some last minute reactions due to the Queens passing.
Prefer the Irish 1 myself, some of the reactions to the token out there show were very funny.
Much prefer the Irish one. Some classic one liners again on it this week. Mammy Ryan is hands down my favourite but I like them all. Didn’t see the point of the new family but I suppose that will grow in time as well
I never really got into the UK one at all.
Happy enough with it.
I'm enjoying it, love the Irish show more
Poor Bryan Murray, a talented actor
Yes, it's sad about Bryan.
The guests on Keys to my Life this season are alright.( I know not everyone will like them). However I enjoy the series.
I really enjoy the series. I love hearing peoples back stories. Half an hour is just right to get the main points and not too much filler.
Last night we saw the return of the lads from the Cooley Peninsula with his wife. Not sure what I make of the new Ashbourne family at the moment.
pity the mate didn’t come back as well. I do like him but the conversations with his wife seemed fake/preplanned. Still unsure about the new family from Ashbourne Donegal sisters are hilarious. Mama Rya n still my ultimate favourite though. Think we have a lot better banter compared to the U.K. version.
Enjoying the new series so far, think it's much improved on the last one.
It's early days but I'm quite enjoying the new Ashbourne family. Got a laugh out of the father suggesting they should all stand up only to be promptly slapped down by the rest.
Really enjoyed the Queen reactions in general, the "kissing cousins" line was hilarious.
John and David are pure overkill on it these days
Ah I think they're harmless. Quite funny.
Who's the new blonde?
....
John and David are probably my favourites, and the only two consistently funny ones since the start.
I do think the 'gay men not knowing anything about sport' trope was a little forced though.
Yar one on the right is gorge.
So is the one on the left. Completely forgot about last nights. Looking forward to catching it on the player today
I think they left because people kept saying they were from Blanchardstown instead of Castleknock.
I hope they are all OK and none deceased
Just watched last nights. I love John & David but they got way too much air time last night. Sometimes less is more. It’s like Pete & Sophie on the U.K. version now I find them annoying.
Have they changed some of the music? I've not noticed Sunburst by Picturehouse in the last couple of episodes.
And no Dreams by The Cranberries either?!? What fresh hell is this?
Not a fan of the Cooley guy with his wife - she seems delighted to be on tv, he seems to be not arsed. There was a bit of banter when he was with the lads but with the wife the conversation seems forced. I'm sure they are a lovely couple, just not translating well on Googlebox.
