How can anybody not! I dislike his habit of choking in majors , someone mentioned him alongside tiger earlier , hilarious comparison. Would been a good one 10 years ago though.

It is hilarious to compare a bloke who hasnt won a major in nearly 10yrs to tiger woods. 10 yrs of his supposed prime. Nothing to do with bitterness. Id love Rory to win more majors, theres feck all chance of that happening unfortunately , doesnt have the brain for it anymore , his approach on the 18th an hour ago tells you all youll ever need to know.

In a press release, it stated that: “It is believed that discussions occurred which are alleged… to be anticompetitive and violative of the antitrust laws vis a vis the LIV Golf Tour and its players”. The release added that Woods has been given notice of a deposition on the 21st September, McIlroy is the 22nd September and PGA Tour Commissioner, Monahan, the 27th September in Jupiter Florida.

Absolutely thrilled for McIlroy tonight. That performance should be enough to silence any of the clowns that were stupid enough to ever call him a bottler or a choker. Balls on the line tonight and he delivered. That putt on 15 and the up and down on 16 were incredible. The man is all class and the performance this week, along with the cheque, will set him up nicely for the new season.
Haha in fairness I wouldn’t have posted that if scheffler wasn’t getting a 6 shot lead at the start tho!

Professional golf is about winning majors. To suggest there is no doubts anymore if he is a bottler is hilarious in the extreme (see approach shot on 18, and its been nearly 10 years now , for his talent level that is nuts)

Non-Rory related, but have to say that the FedEx does absolutely nothing for me as a spectacle. It's probably more LIV, than LIV itself in many ways.
Attempt to intimidate I suspect, they do appear to be the strongest voices, I also think Mcilroy is the players representative on the PGA Tour Board, but I could be wrong on that.

You mean his approach on 18 from 227 yards that he pulled by about 7 yards when there was $18 million on the line? That shot? Who won the tournament?
Absolutely golf is about winning majors, and he has 4 of them. The timing of his 4 majors means nothing, it’s totally irrelevant. He’s 34 years of age and will win more majors, it is an absolute certainty. His legacy is secured and is a hall of famer with 4 wins. Your opinion is of absolutely no concern to me because it’s total nonsense.
It is beyond relevant when assessing whether he will win more. He wont win another major , hes proved over the last 10 yrs is brain is not there to win majors. To tell me that it is an absolute certainty that someone will win more majors when theyve failed to do so between the ages of 25 and 34 has to be a wind up?

He will go down as the second best player of the Tiger era, ahead of Mickelson. That says it all about him and how good he is.
I’m not his biggest fan personally, but I can appreciate just how good he is. The man is an amazing player. Nothing annoys me more than people who admittedly don’t watch golf outside of the majors or the big events yet refer to him as a bottler. It’s just lazy analysis and is a tell tale sign they haven’t a clue what they’re talking about. Unfortunately it’s not limited to golf, Irish people love doing with sports teams or sports people.
But if the majors are the most important by far and he cant win them for the last 10yrs but has the talent to win other tournaments , eh how is he not a bottler? Why do you think he hasnt won a major in 10 years, not good enough? Phil has 6 majors , please behave.
