Clerical Officer in the Civil Service 2022 | Civil Service - publicjobs.ie
Hi
At what stage you know the location of your office, your hours? Do they give such information on the first day of work or before??
I'm wondering about the same. Are they going to inform about the location of the office on the 1st day or before? I would not fancy finding out on the 1st day that commuting will take me 2 hours for example.
Hi,
Congratulations,
May I ask if you don't mind what was your OOM, location in kerry and what organisation did you get? I'm just over the 300 mark but have herd nothing since I selected my locations where I'd like to be placed.
Does anyone know what the NSSO WFH policy is for new recruits at CO level?
Anyone starting in Galway soon? Hoping I won’t be the only newbie!
I passed my interview at the end of July. Haven't heard anything since except my batch no. Not sure where they're at now. When did you pass your interview?
passed in May
what was the timeline from passing interview to job offer? ive interview for Galway in Sept
12 weeks from passing interview to job offer. Granted that was the summer months which are notoriously slow for recruitment
Anyone on here who submitted the location preference form in July hear anything else about their application or how things are progressing?
Anyone recently gone through extra Garda vetting for AGS how long did it take? I’m 5 weeks waiting now and just want it to be over!!
I had to complete the location preference form start of July, then did the interview start of August, got word I passed a week later but nothing since. Doesn't seem to be much movement on panel for Donegal
Thanks for the reply. OOM 382 for my county. Heard nothing since submitting the location preference form.
Mine took 11 weeks but it might be a little quicker now.i am sure when mine was being done it was at the time when the airport staff were also being vetted with the staffing shortage.
August is peak holiday season so I'd say things have slowed down this past month. Hopefully interviews and offers pick up again now in September and October
Thanks. I dont have to get special clearance from what I can tell as the email did not mention 3 months..Not that many addresses either and never been in front of a Judge..Im guessing 5-10 days so..
Hi there,
I will be starting with the revenue in Cork soon..Is the offices in Blackpool only or do they have offices in other areas of the City. I worked with the Revenue as a TCO many years ago and I loved it, was gutted when the contract ended so glad to get this offer.
Thanks.
btw the process took about 3 months from interview to offer which is as I would expect for the competition if this helps anyone who is wondering
Hi I'm waiting 7 weeks for my vetting.
Mine took less then 2 weeks. That was 4 weeks ago.
Hi you should be getting placed soon, I've just got my position for Offaly starting on 22nd. I was oom 55 ...so best of luck!
Started with nsso on 22nd this week, only required to be in office 1 day a week. Fabulous team and training videos so far, so am looking forward to the new challenge and new environment
The vetting for pas for me took a week but the special vetting for AGS takes longer, was your vetting for AGS?
Yes both my pas and ags vetting were complete at the same time.
That's great, I was told it would take a min of 6 weeks for the AGS to be complete, even though when I checked the status it said it was complete but when I contacted HR they said it was on the last part of the process. Be great to get a start date soon, were you waiting long for the start date?
Yes I was told it could take up to 12 weeks so I was surprised when it was done in 2. Once that was complete, they did reference the week after and within a few days I got a call with a start date.
Thanks @Janas I rang pas about 2 weeks ago and there were 4 ahead of me for clearance. Congrats and best of luck in the new job 😁
Hi All,
Is the enhanced clearance form the same as the ordinary garda vetting or do they look for more information on it. I filled out a vetting form and then I was sent an identical form a week later I wonder was this for enhanced clearance or a mistake made by pas.
Hi folks, anyone any idea on any movement in Kilkenny.
Hey @BusyBee2022 do you mind me asking what OOM you are for Offaly?
I contacted clearance and I am next in line to be called for Kildare. Fingers crossed it’s before January 😂. Things really seem to have slowed down
