Quite likely price of M3 will go up before the year is out, but prices could fall when Berlin starts pumping them out and demand is met.
Try to move on and remain positive otherwise you will allow this experience to impact yourself negatively ..a choice that your get to make ...you are with respect ranting. Tesla don't have a nationwide dealership but do provide a trade in service but in reality they put your details out to those whom they work with in the trade and solicit best offers and pass them on to you. If you can sell privately you should do so
I am not surprised they are not answering their phone as this is a period of frenzied activity as they prepare for the significant logistics of ships arriving and preparing for delivery. Last thing they want (or need) is to take a call from you about disappointment with their tradein policies. I know form your various comments that you are a reasonable guy and are indeed excited about your new toy....and you will love it.
I say all of the above with a lot of respect and as a gentle nudge to manage expectations.
PS .all payment made are reflected on your Tesla account within a day or so. Try not to start complaining/rant that you didn't receive an acknowledgment. It's an online ordering process and IMHO works well. If you want. personal experience there are many dealerships that will supply the chocolates, champagne and handshake .....but not the TESLA. We all make choices but the Tesla business model is what it is ...like it or not .

Risky at the moment with regards to appreciation IMO. We are approaching a tough winter with inflation and increased energy costs.
The current €53k price is following a price increase already in March. Who knows if there will be another one?

Reg received yesterday & Mrs. Kramer stopped into the motor tax office on her way home for the tax disc. So we've the tax disc, insurance cert printed out & toll account updated now - ready to roll.
Luckily, ordered both newer cars before the price increase & got €47k for our original Freemont car, with close to 50k kms on it.
Should have ordered a few more!

I imagine so. One was stopped at Gorey service station and was leaving when I stopped at Ionity. The other one I overtook a bit before Gorey. Don't know if there were others on route.
They are older cars surely, with the chrome trim?

There are 2 red model Y available from inventory although one with FSD and white interior so 87k
It makes no sense for Tesla to leave the FSD on the car. More likely to sell without FSD and then the next in line buyer can buy it if and when they want.
They obviously have no problem selling them with FSD due to high demand. FSD is all profit.
anyone got their plate number yet? If so, when are you collecting and how did you get it?

On the 8th and nothing yet. I did get a reply from Tesla saying my payment had cleared and they were waiting for the SEAI grant to pass approval before doing the Reg for me though.
Just got the text 5 minutes ago. Proof of registration was uploaded in my account on Friday (which includes the reg).
Got my insurance (fortune) sorted. Motor tax to follow this week.
Got a reply email from Tesla (Natalie) today re next steps and payment details. She sent me the required bank details and advised…
“We always advise to make your payment as soon as possible to avoid delays, however payment must be cleared our end at least 10 days prior to your collection appointment.
Once payment is received our end and your collection is scheduled, we will register your new Tesla and send you the license plate details so you can arrange your insurance”.
My collection is scheduled for 13/9. I’m going to transfer full deposit this evening and expect it to take a couple of days to clear.
Also getting home charger installed this weekend, so will be all set for 13th.

Looking for any help, i received the VIN and registration number but am unable to log in to the motortax portal. The Dublin office is closed so it's either post the form tomorrow and probably not receive the tax disc in time for collection on the 6. Or ask Tesla for a later pickup slot, anyone have any ideas what to do?
You’ll be ok for tax until the end of the month.
