Because it is objectively worse for the consumer now, obviously.
And obviously cuts down on account sharing, hence pushing more customers to Boost and protecting Sky’s bottom line.
They are not stupid.
Reminded of the early days of Sky when if you had multiple boxes, they all had to be connected to the same telephone line to confirm they were on the same premises. Lol.
Does anyone else find DID slow at posting the sticks? They charge enough for posting that you would expect a quicker service.
I ordered on a Friday morning from them and gad them delivered on the Saturday, so no.
Same, ordered on friday, arrived on saturday.
Can't get any quicker than that.
When you get the sticks, can you activate, say, six at the same time and then have six months subscription with no more faffing? Or do you have to wait until stick 1 has expired before activating stick 2, etc.?
You can activate them all at once
Great. Thanks.
Myself and a friend set up a stick each. There's a month of sports and sports extra on the account since he set it up.
After I set up my stick the expiry of the sports is still September but there are now vouchers for sports and sports extra in the account that we can redeem. If I redeem straight away will it just be added on to our time, kick the expiry on another month or do I have to redeem at the end of the current month?
Any codes floating around for Sports Extra Membership? I went back a load of pages on this thread and couldn't see any. I have the Sky Sports 3 months for €30 (which is a great deal). Thanks.
NOWWBXNCMOXS may still work for 6 months at €10 per month.
You should really look to buy up some of the Now Sticks, they are €15 for a month of Sport and Sports Extra, they come with seperate voucher for each that gets added to your Now account. You can stack them too if you wanted to add lots.
My membership was up, so I cancelled it. They eventually offered me €5.10 a month for 3 months (no code, I'm afraid). Any improvement on that, please?
Am assuming that's the entertainment or movie package?
€5 p/m is the lowest I've ever seen it, so take it if I were you.
Actually, regardless of what package you were on. €5.10 would be a no-brainer.
Sorry, that was Entertainment. Earlier in the year it was €3.
I'm after buying a one months sports and sports extra stick in tesco. How do I add this to my existing NowTv account? Where's the code? I already have the €10 a month sky sports offer. Thanks.
Edit: I figured it out.
Might be a silly question, I do not have a smart TV but a Samsung with HDMI slots, assume I put the Stick in the HDMI slot but does it come with a remote control or do I have to buy this separately..in order to view the NOW
It comes with remote. You just connect to hdmi, then connect to your WiFi. You will then be asked to login with your now account details. It's free to setup a now account.
When you set up your new account, activate the free week of now, entertainment and or movies before connecting the stick, then you get extra week free..
Thank you so much
I have not seen any boost codes in ages are they gone?
There was one that expired ages ago, think it was 6 months for a tenner, the early adopters will have it until about December so I'd expect more codes around then
I got that recently. I'm good until February thankfully. Hopefully inflation sees people canceling resulting in better deals over the winter.
Have you tried this one?

Is anyone sharing their nowtv subscription with two other houses using boost and if so is that working fine without any issues?
DID electrical have the sports pack back in, got mine @€14.99 each and they still had a good few in stock.
Can confirm no problems
just plugged in my new 12.99e now stick and activated both the sports & sports extra packages. i'll have 30d viewing for 43c per day which i think is a good deal

Just confirming with these sticks, if I already have a sports sub can I add the months onto them or is it new customers only?
