I was made redundant due to covid affecting business. Out of work a few months and received a letter to go to Jobpath. I met with a nice guy and he asked me quite a lot of questions about my old job. I was upper management and in my job for 12 years so I was absolutely devastated to be let go. I’m still devastated. They’ve set me up with a course that starts in a few weeks but they’re making me feel a bit claustrophobic. I have to engage with them every 10ish days - sometimes in their office sometimes over the phone. I’ve told them that I wanted time to finish my course before I look for work as I need it to upskill since it’s been so long since I’ve had to look for work. I need help with my confidence too and I tell ya, these guys on at me all the time isn’t helping. Am I being too sensitive? Would love to hear if someone had same experiences.
