Same for me. Limited to the North, but all good. On the Satellite Map, you can see they're orbiting south of Ireland. My Antenna is always pointing to ONE direction and stable at 150-250Mbps Down on the Router. I'm in my first Starlink month coming from EIR "Superspeed" of 2-8Mbps Down (can u believe it?) :)
same. I’ve hardly anything to the north but get consistently 250 down and have never noticed any interruption, even any very short one

When I first used Starlink (May 2021), there were zero interactions north of the East-West line. Now, about 40% of interactions are north of that line once the arc south of the line has been filled. I suppose that as more sats are added, the optimal orientation of the antenna will be vertical. Currently, mine is tilted towards the south and has not changed position in 14 months.
Sorry probably asked a few times in the thread.
Looking at ordering Starlink in North Kerry when I put in my address it shows up an estate a few kilometers away in the nearest village but it won't take my actual address when I go to confirm the location.
Do I mail Starlink directly?
Open google maps. left click where your house is. Then at the bottom of the screen you will see your coords. Click this and then on the left you should find your "plus code". Copy and paste this into starlink service area box on their website.
Just fleshing out Eleusis's sound guidance: Open Google Maps on a PC, click on your exact location, click on displayed lat/long coordinates to open a sidebar, look for the alpha-numeric code and location data adjacent to the 5-dot icon and copy/paste this into the Starlink address box
Thanks gives me a totally random address which I've never heard of in the area before
I'll look further into it.
Thanks
It does the same for my own address. I only vagually heard the name it gives, but it doesnt matter all that much as long as its close. when you go through the order you can manually put your normal address as the delivery address
My Starlink address is also not my postal address. Look at it like a Starlink location reference rather than your address
Same for me ... The Google +Code gives my address as "High Road". I asked the locals (I'm only a blow-in 😉), as well as my postie and nobody has ever heard the road or area referred to as that. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Anyone getting odd latency spikes lately probably since last update? It used be very consistent at ~30ms for me. Also since last update, my dish is now orientated south, having being more northerly before, anyone else have that happen?
Times are off in this graph too, should be 4:25pm.
Neighbors dishy point North. Plenty here will say thats wrong but it works fine and has a completely open sky N, S E, and W and its had every opportunity to point south. I'll check when I take the dogs out tonight if its still pointing in a northerly direction
It's dark so I can't see my dishy, but it hasn't budged from a southern inclination since I got it so far ... my latency:
Just got email from Starlink about price reduction. Anyone else got it?
Yup got it too. Down to 85 euro a month now
Me too. Seems like it’s across the board. Was a nice message to wake up to
Is that global or just Ireland? Wondering as NBI starts coming online will Starlink have to start competing on price.
Seems to be Europe wide and beyond, Greece €60, Spain & Italy €70, UK £75, Germany €80, Austria €85, Hungary ~ $41, etc.
Unexpected but very nice.
Indeed. A price change in a nice direction. 😋
One thing I've just noticed on www.starlink.sx ... there seems to be a lot more satellites flying over Ireland at this time. Plus there is the second ground station operational sometime in the last 6 months. I think this may be helping with the improved stability of the connection.
Popcorn time....
For those of you who would like to understand the technology at play here, and how dishy works, have a look at this fascinating explanation video.
Next time you wonder about latency, downtime or cost of implementation, consider what you've just watched. i hope you watch in its entirety, as its mind-blowing.
Enjoy !

From moving statues to moving satellites, we've certainly come a long way. Anyone got a pic of the ground station?
well thanks to eir and nib pointing fingers at eachother as to who's job it was to roll fibre out in my area - I just ordered my self a dishy.
Anyone know how long it'll take to get to me these days?
If you check your order online, it might have an estimated delivery date.
It took 10 days for me.
Very impressed went from 3mb download to 240mb with Starlink.
Very happy.
Seems Ukraine have around 23,000* of them
Heads up I was still charged the old rate of €99 for my invoice of 28th Aug. I've logged a support case to see what the story is
I've definitely noticed more satellites visible to the naked eye
It's a little bit sad from a naturalistic pov. But exciting from a technological pov, and worrying from a futurist POV with the whole space junk scenario being played out before our eyes
I got my invoice on 27th August for €85:
