Season KOs 16th/17th Sept except for SA teams who all get a bye week. Leinster travel to Zebre Parma, Munster at Cardiff, and an interpro with Ulster v Connacht.
Brilliant, only a month and a half until rugby recommences. I have an exam on 30 September thinking the season wouldn’t start until October. No hassle, the first two fixtures are Italian sides for Leinster. I’ll sneak a watch but won’t be too upset if I miss them. Also over Christmas we now have the SA inter pros to watch!
Have RTÉ/TG4 retained the coverage rights for the Irish provinces in the coming season?
Last season was the first of a 4 year deal. So yes they still have the rights.
The fixture list this year is bizarre.
No interpros after the New Year, everything is front loaded into the first half of the season.
Disappointed to see the 3 interpros in a row at Christmas, I guess we can expect the usual B team nonsense again.
I don’t think after how tight things got this year. Teams will be willing to mess about as much as previous years. Every point counts now.
There's an interpro every week between R4 and R11. I think that with them spaced out like that, you're far more likely to get strong teams in the majority of them.
Second last Leinster fixture is Bulls at altitude. We will definitely need to not rely on a result in Pretoria

Mine is autorenewing at 60 quid I believe, also upgrading me from the Ireland pack to the complete pack.
NowTV Sports Extra 10 month offer now up - €17 per month down from €33 per month. Includes Premier Sports coverage on URC and Top 14 for anyone interested plus BT for European Games. Euro final is usually end of May so I suggest waiting until beginning Sept (if offer is still available then) to last the ten months until the end of May.

I reckon they got the pricing incorrect last season and saw an influx in subscriptions. They’re betting on the URC, Top 14, English premiership and Euro will see a swell in demand for rugby subscriptions and have hiked the price accordingly. I think it was 120 for the season last year.

Just went to cancel Sky Sports Extra on Now and got offered a tenner a month for 6 months. Never not a deal going on Now.

They make a lot of references to EFL clubs? Is that the English Football (soccer) League? What clubs do the URC have based in England?
