Its been suggested on boards that Twitter has users with multiple account that pile on TDs is this not true now ? Mob implies a group of people not accounts. words are important.

The government must be massively concerned with those numbers, especially when you consider we have a population of 5m or so?
Imagine as well if we subtract the 20% guaranteed fake accounts form those 8000 tweets. So that leaves us with 6400
Then a quick look and it seems to be the same people just repeating it.
So in the end what we looking at? Give us a guess @Dempo1 and @FrancieBrady on how many real people are using that hashtag?

Just ignore BA's attempt at deflection. This is a problem for FFG and the damage from Troy is spreading. It has already made Varadkar look like a plonker for defending him without knowing the full story. Martin is similarly damaged. Worst of all for FF, it has rekindled the link between FF and the property bubble/landlordism in the middle of a Housing crisis.

It will be interesting to see if there's any shift in the next RedC poll as that has some of the characteristics of a tracking poll. With a tracking poll, it is the same set of people being polled. Because RedC uses a panel, some will be polled more than once a year. The other polls use random samples.
If there's a drop in FF's support, it will be panic stations for the FF backbenchers. It would not be unexpected that one of the pollsters will include a question related to Troy Story. If ever there was a need for an FF leader like Jim O'Callaghan, it is now. It is only a matter of time before people start remembering that Martin was a member of the Cowen and Ahern governments.

Anyway, it’s simple maths, if we take out the fake accounts which to be fair only saying it’s 20% is very kind based on history(probably more 50%)
Then we have a look at the amount of times the same accounts have posted today on the subject on boards to give an idea. Would we say each person tweets 30 times.
So we end up with 213 people give or take.
This story is 3 weeks old and is not going away anytime soon. They're long overdue getting ahead of it.
They're about to pass out the "damage limitation" point.
We're crossing over into "toxic for everyone" stage.

If they had had the full story from Troy then they might have been able to shut the story down quickly. The Ditch has really put the mainstream publications in the shade and the Examiner, the Indo and the IT have all followed up. Even RTE is getting in on the action.
If they got his full story 3 weeks ago and gave him an ultimatum, that if it drags on he's a goner, then they'd be smelling of roses. As it stands they're getting covered in shoite. Long may it continue.

Its just disgusting that while me and my generation are unable to have an independent bog standard basic life because of housing that a junior minister, scandal and incompetence aside, owns 11 properties that he has been getting rents of 1500 a month for a 1 bed on. It is literally against his personal interests to support fixing housing
It would be like having a minister who owns a chain of funeral homes and expecting them to end a famine or plague
