A few people must be pushing their delivery dates out. I thought I would have needing the extra time too considering I ordered only 2 weeks ago expecting Christmas delivery

Has the delivery date disappeared from the app for anyone else after the recent app update?

I thought it disappeared "because" of the delivery date.
So do we get other app features soon after car has been assigned, or is there a different app for that? Keys, charging etc
Insurance -
I'm currently paying €450 comp insurance with Aviva for 221 Ioniq 5. When I put in the reg of a 221 Model 3 to get a quote for a "change of car" it wants an extra €550 for the 5 months remaining on the policy. This would imply that at renewal my policy would jump from €450 pa to almost €1800 pa.
Anyone else find that their insurance company sees a Model 3 as an exceptionally high risk car?
That's ridiculous! I call about it, as it shouldn't be costing anywhere near that. My new policy with Allianz started only a few days ago with my Leaf. Its now on pause until I have the reg of the M3. I went direct to avoid silly fees, so if they take the pee, I'll cancel and start a new policy. Currently paying 390 comp
The additional features (lots of them) only appear once your car is activated at the handover. Up until then it’s just all about your order and not the car
I snapped up an inventory Model 3 on Tuesday. I was waiting to hear about the AIB finance, but got it sorted in hours with Finance Ireland.
I've a delivery date and time (Sept 8th), but no VIN yet.
I'm still waiting on what the trade-in quote is. I rang the UK call centre and they said the quote was back in Sandyford, but they couldn't see what it was. How long were people waiting to hear back about the trade-in value?
I see a few people are taking delivery from the 6th, I’m currently 13th, which was the earliest date I was offered. I’d love to take delivery the previous week… did people contact Tesla via the chat or how did you about speaking to someone on phone about potential earlier delivery dates?

The online delivery time selector only offered me the 8th or 9th September. There was about 10 time slots as of yesterday morning across those dates.
Will most likely relate to when your specific car (VIN) arrives in Dublin. The extended date range suggests Irish cars are coming on multiple ships and staggered
No harm asking them. I found them very obliging through the chat, but perhaps it was a bit quieter end of Feb/early March.
I rang yesterday a rew minutes after selecting earliest date. I was offered a date 9 days earlier, but times are tight. I got the 7th
pricing isn't only for personal buyers. business buyers are happy to pay for upgraded wheels and colours as they arent getting the grant
Scroll down to the bottom of the app and it is actually there - its a bit weird but its down the bottom on my app.

Yeah i seen the black one too but was happy enough with the white - they are literally popping up randomly on the inventory page and being snapped up almost straight away from what i can make out!
Just got finance and everything sorted . Have a delivery date for the 16th of September.

I've called Tesla and they said they needed to check with the Dublin deliveries team and then got a text back saying the date I have is the earliest. Not a big deal but its a little frustrating that I ordered this 5 months ago and I'm getting mine a week later than some folks who ordered theirs in the last week. Don't get me wrong, I'm very happy for everyone but don't understand why an earlier slot can't be offered....perhaps my car just isn't arriving into Ireland until that date..
I was a bit slow on the uptick responding to the collection slot text (was on a flight) and I got a slot at the end of September as my collection date for my Model Y. aargh.. will be a long month
I suppose they figure those who ordered recently got stung with a higher price, so an earlier collection date helps heal that wound. I missed the order date and paid a high price.

It is probably the order the cars arrive. The inventory orders are most likely cars due to arrive and original buyer just cancelled. Your car already matched is on the boat behind.

I initially contacted the sales team, they suggested to speak to the delivery team - but Sales did say the schedule was full for the previous week. Waiting to hear back anyway.
Final deposit amount paid a few moments ago. Now I’m just waiting on a plate number for the insurance. Did a lil dance there (in my head).
You made a great decision changing from the leaf to the tesla (seeing the post on the other thread), you wont know yourself!
