Seeing as Elton has now rescheduled his Dublin gigs, might be useful to start a 2023 thread as others might start popping up.
The Commitments - 7th - 19th February (Olympia Theatre)
Elton John - 28th/29th March (3Arena)
I still can't bring myself to book an all seated gig, but I do like death cab.
Did they do a song for Scrubs ?
Got myself tickets this morning for this. Second concert for 2023 sorted.
A bit of a coincidence it was announced a day before Garth Brooks
Don't listen to much country but this guy and the others do sound pretty good tbf
Luke Combs is due to play the 3Arena, Dublin, on October 13, 2023 and tickets from €30 go on sale from Ticketmaster at 9am Friday, September 16 2022
Dry Cleaning play Vicar St. and Mandela Hall 14/15 February https://singularartists.ie/show/dry-cleaning-2/
First Aid Kit announced more dates around Europe next year earlier. No Irish date but hoping they announce one at some stage.
With the sort of stage set up Rammstein have I doubt they'd go for Belsonic. They were playing Boucher Road pre-covid so I'd hope if they do plan to do a slot over here they'll go back to that site. Double the occupancy of Ormeau Park and they'd have plenty of time for set up and take down.
Death Cab for Cutie playing Bord Gais on 19th March https://twitter.com/mcd_productions/status/1565610511525466118?t=GTKUwts9QBCjCusCqikpfA&s=19
1975 playing the 3 Arena and Belfast in January https://twitter.com/the1975/status/1565391535767597056
Talk of the Stadium Tour (Crue,Leppard featuring Poison and Joan Jett) European run has slowed down with Brett Michaels recently coming out saying 'Poison will finish after the tour til 2025'. I was thinking maybe that would headline one of the days of download but who knows at this stage (pardon the pun)
With the cost of living the days of going to multiple concerts may be a thing of the past
I have a theory on this! So they have a gap in the schedule around the time of Download, who are having a big anniversary show next year. No UK dates announced either which is odd.
I reckon the weekend of Download, Rammstein will be over here for Belsonic. Would love to see a gig in the RDS/Marlay/Aviva but think that's wishful thinking. Has to be outdoor with the current stage set up anyways.
Saw them in Coventry this year and was genuinely the best show I've ever seen. Crossing fingers for a show here but if you're right, I'll get tickets for somewhere in Europe :)
Damn Rammatein skipping Ireland again
Did not expect that
Not suitable at Slane, with a largely younger female following, it'll be a logistical nightmare as a lot won't even be of age to drink not to mention being allowed bus it or walk it in! And in the middle of junior cert and leaving cert.
I have 2 avid fans here who saw him in Aviva, they'll be 16 and 14 then and unless I bring them, they won't be allowed go.
I'm going to look at the UK dates and get them for there.
Yeah some surprise there
Fairplay to him
Harry styles is playing in slane
Didn’t expect slane.
Hopefully that means Coldplay will announce Croke if they are coming
Harry styles for Slane June 23rd 2023

Not suitable for Slane IMO
Harry Styles is about to announce a Europe stadium tour. Aviva again?
Blur are allegedly reuniting for a Wembley gig according to the sun. Hopefully true with a date here.
It could be Croke Park as well, they would easily fill 2 to 3 there.
I was looking at their world tour list for 2022, and there is a large stadium called River Plate in Argentina, and they are doing 10 nights there, that has to be a run away record, even big bands like U2 have only ever done 3 nights max, at that stadium
If there is an Irish date, it would be after Cardiff, there is a big gap until the next show.
Read a comment from Mountcharles last year saying Slane 2023 headliner was booked for May or June.
That ties in at least with the dates Coldplay are playing in the UK.
id say they could be doing slane, as far as i remember slane usually do their own announcement?
First batch of dates for 2023 have been announced but no irish dates. They did say more dates coming soon 🤞
Yes. Cardiff, Manchester, Italy, Amsterdam, Zurich, Barcelona, Denmark all announced. Still holding out hope for Dublin.
Coldplay are all about their light show now aswell, It was great in Croke, don’t think it would be as good in Slane.
Saw that Coldplay put up a teaser for a show in the Principality Stadium Cardiff
Probably another leg of the tour for 2023.
Maybe the Aviva or rds could be a safer bet?
Yeah maybe an Irish date be added at a later date
Would they be popular enough for Slane ?
