And this could be new one
I think the west f#cked up when the "green troops" shot down the MH17. I thought that was a game changer. Russia claimed that the green troops isn't russian army, just like wagner, so if us/nato/un put their boots in Ukraine after mh17, it would be just like the battle of Khasham in Syria, Putin couldn't do a thing about it.
Yeah NATO has always Trained for a proportional and similar effective Russian military response. That seems to be out the window now. Their kit seems terrible and the actual users of it even worse. So the expectation for say a Russian air response of any calibre on par with NATO will not happen. I will be akin to a WWI army fighting NATO as it stands. Obviously with better tech but not on par with NATOs.
Putin thrives on weakness that's why he is using a nuclear power plant as a doomsday weapon. The west needs to call his bluff sooner rather than later.
And if he’s not bluffing? What then?
Interestingly the wind tomorrow around Zaphorizhzhia changes from NW/NNW to a steady easterly for the next week.
NATOs airforce alone would be enough to stop Russia
Busy night tonight
4 explosions in Savastopol
Remind me again, is an easterly wind from the east or to the east?
Lads that nuclear plant is entirely different to Chernobyl.
it cannot be Chernobyl 2. Not even close. It would do severe damage approx 2km diameter. Bad, nowhere near as damaging.
I can't keep up with the amount of absolute hammerings (Russian government name: smoking accidents) going on today
From the east
I'd say the Ukrainians have some weird unknown stuff that could blow the watch off your wrist.
Russian logistics keep taking big hits - going to be harder to advance if they can't do their usual non-stop artillery bombardments.
Russians will start putting pics of sunken warship Moskva, blown ammo dumps etc on the packs of cigarettes
Looks like Ukraine is really letting loose tonight. Be interesting to see the damage reports in the morning.
It's good news. It can only create disquiet and nervousness on the Russian side (and the regime propagandists have no way of covering it up or pretend it's not happening, thanks to social media).
The Russians surely cannot sustain this much longer. Could the rumoured Ukrainian offensive be real and close to happening.
Holy fcuk the Ukrainians have been busy today. The amount of reports on Twitter and Reddit of strikes across Crimea and over the border Belgorod is unreal.
I noticed! Unfortunately. Says more about them than you
Thats exactly what i wanted to hear,i bet the russians are regretting every minute of crossing the border over to Ukraine
So far...
Explosions at munitions depot, Timonovo, Belgorod
Fire/explosions at Stary Oskol Airfield, Belgorod
Explosions in Nova Kakhovka, Kherson
Explosions/UAV shot down near Belbek airport, Crimea
Air defence activity near Kerch strait, Crimea
Talks?
They need to drop the kerch bridge , completely cut off Russians inside ukraine and when they take Crimea back they should rename it New Mariupol
The Russian public are aware of all this btw. Their own media are reporting it.
lol I would only meet if it's in the middle of the pentagon.
Hopefully (if February 24th wasn't) today is the beginning of the end, of this uncultured, uncouth and savage nations place as a member of the civilised world.
There should be no easy entry back to civilisation and normality for them either, the russians need to learn a very hard lesson, they had 30+ years to do so and didn't. They need to pay.
Remember they arrested a few Islamists for the fires in Crimea, it would be interesting to see exactly what's being actually reported, considering Belgorod has been attacked multiple times and yet no real reaction from russian civilians despite the mother land being under attack,
Islamists could be an excuse for pulling entirely out of Syria. They may need those troops. Not sure if it's just spec ops left there.
