The other thing that's happening is that the offer is often sold out and staff move something into the space on the shelf without removing the label which has the product code.

Shocking. The picture in the Lidl Plus app clearly displays Cheese and Onion Chrips.
Lidl need to do a lot better with ensuring that photo + app description + app listed price are correct.
The cheese and onion ones are NOT on offer. I just tried and got charged!
There were 2 types of Milk Chocolate with Hazelnut bars in my Lidl. Both with green wrappers. I checked the code on display, and assumed one of the bars was the correct one. However, at the checkout I noticed it didn't work, so I told the operator that I didn't want it (I had it at the start of my shopping on the belt, so could see if it worked). They didn't have the Whole Hazelnut bars in my branch, so today I got the alternative treat instead.
Ah no, not the crisps, where only one flavour scans
Multipack Crisps or Simmer Soups on first scratch card
Next weeks treats.
Every week. Out on a Wednesday afternoon and needs to be redeemed on app by 23.59 on the Sunday. Valid for 7 days from when you redeem it.
So , is there a new parkrun code every day?
Certainly happened me a few times. Very annoying when the only reason you ever picked the item up was because it was free - then find you paid for it because you never activated it. Then go back in to get the item, this time activated - and go home with two of something you never needed ....
I'd suspect there's a fair few cases where the wrong product is picked up or it's not activated or the app is down, so the freebie gets paid for. Sure we still do well outta the app I guess.
I made the mistake of picking up the Dark Chocolate whole hazelnut bar which is under a different barcode number and not included on the treats. My bad, I should have checked. I'll hopefully pick up the Milk chocolate one in the green wrapper next time.
I found the product codes in the products included section to be very useful. The codes appear on the shelf.
If you read the products included in the offer it says it includes "bagel thins" not actual bagels.
I was disappointed it didn't include wraps myself since those are long life.
We were thinking that two weeks ago, i wonder if vhi or lidl care.
We could see the codes change again if they do, 4 numbers is a big jump, or they could just not activate them until late afternoon when they send the email.
I love the dedication to parkrun codes
PARKRUN240 , Easy Peelers or Snack Almonds.
Right, sorry if I stole someone else's allocation but I just ruled out PARKRUN015 to PARKRUN099...
If everyone just spent 5 or 10 min, they'd get 50 or 100 codes checked.
It's something you could do while waiting for or on the bus/train, or while having breakfast, or doing a morning poo.
It was midnight before daylight savings kicked in, now it's 1am
I think it's around 1/2am ....when the codes were in sequence it was never straight after midnight for me
If we get a few people on board, we could crack it fairly quickly
Very tempting, only issue is that you can't start cracking till after midnight...
Parkrun.
Let's presume that the codes run from Parkrun0 to Parkrun999
That's 1,000 potential codes.
If we could get say 20 people on board. And each take 50 codes to try, we could crack it.
I estimate that it would take each person no more than 5 minutes to try 50 codes. (I timed it..2m40s to try 50 codes)
Any takers?
