Seeing as Elton has now rescheduled his Dublin gigs, might be useful to start a 2023 thread as others might start popping up.
The Commitments - 7th - 19th February (Olympia Theatre)
Elton John - 28th/29th March (3Arena)
Could sir Paul McCartney who turns 80 this weekend do a tour with a stop here ?
He's playing for a minimum 2.5 hours on his tour so far. Some going for his age
Basically sold out, only upper circle left.
Wasn't expecting that, given the last shows I went to were Whelan's and The Workman's Club, but delighted for them. Can't wait, should be a cracking night 🙂
Hopefully they will add more, think i saw them 3 times, once was in Electric Arena at EP, and it was a huge highlight that year.
Hugely underated.
'INCOMING…..
New gig details coming Monday @10AM.
www.overdrive.ie'
My guess is possibly a Def Leppard UK/Euro tour
I think Pet Shop Boys also announce new dates on Monday.
Edit: just realised overdrive is focused on rock/metal.
Hollywood Vampires announced a few European dates for next summer
Possibly them announcing more dates with a Dublin show included
Half capacity 3Arena should be enough for them.
Would they have much of a following over here?
Not sure fully but imagine the names would attract particularly Depp
Foggy Notions announcing at 10 so that could be PSB
Dublin is mentioned and hopefully it's the US stadium tour lineup
Wait and see I suppose
Hollywood Vampires cancelled a European Tour last year. They only had 3 dates in the UK. I suspect they will try and mirror what they were doing then (I had a ticket for Leeds, with Birmingham and London being the other two dates - basically big indoor arenas, but one in the North, one in the Midland and one in London.)
That would be epic
Yeah it would be, saw Leppard a few times and Crue once but never Poison, from the reviews of the tour so far Poison are getting great praise for their performances
Hope im wrong but maybe Leppard will do some Arena dates alongside stadium shows in bigger markets. Dublin could only get the Arena show
George Ezra has announced an extra date in the 3Arena and Inec for march
Metric playing The Academy on Saturday 28 January 2023.
Small enough venue for them.
Would anyone have a pre sale code that they wouldn't mind sharing please?

Bicep 17th March in 3 Arena: https://mcd.ie/bicep-announce-st-patricks-day-show-at-dublins-3arena/
A Paddys Day gig
Could be a rather pleasant night with a few beverages consumed
Pulp have confirmed they are reforming again for shows in 2023
U2 making a Dublin Stadium return apparently
Ozzys back
That co headline tour with Priest might happen finally
Megadeth announced as one of the headliners for Bloodstock on Aug 13th 2023
Maybe a date here around that time
Muse are making a tour announcement on the 17th, guessing an arena tour
I'd almost say it'll be the stadium shows. Hopefully an Irish show this time
Aviva or RDS maybe, Croke Park a bit too big I imagine
Only saw Muse for about 20 mins back in 2007. It was amazing for the time and love to see what kind of stage show they do nowadays
Rammstein back in Europe next summer but not looking like it will visit Ireland or the UK
If they do play here, I'd assume Marley Park. Very soon for a show there to be announced though I'd have thought.
Sure Bruce is announced for RDS
Belsonic announcing first act for 2023 tomorrow at 10
Paolo Nutini for malahide, Musgrave Park and belsonic next summer
