They are probably preparing a report critizing the Ukrainian's of building residential buildings beside potential Russian artillery sites.
You knew Darby Kennedy? The man who was smuggling Irish whisky into Battle of Britain airbases from Weston?
That fella was some auld Rogue!!!
Only in Febuary? The Brits have been in Ukraine training their army for years. Might ask where ze Germans were then. Must have scalded your hole to see the love affair the Ukranians had with Boris eh?
I see you're peddling the Carole Codswallop theory, how did her crowfunded defence go? I seem to recall she folded like a melted Mars bar and admitted there was no truth in any of it? I'll just put you down as another lost soul driven demented by Brexit and now permanently sporting a tin foil hat. Tragic really
Anyway, as if on cue: Heres Olaf going out to bat for the poor, innocent Russians, as per Moscow wishes:
Wonder if Brussels will back him up? Silly question. 😂
He sure was. Peacocks walking around all over the place. I'll give you a dollar if you can tell be the reg of his aircraft! Lol.
My granny lives at the end of the runway, over the hedge. My Dad was in the Blue Max when it was filmed there.
Good Times.
lol amnesty have consistently called out Russians for war crimes - that they tried to hold ukraine to same standard and published one report against them and now people are throwing their toys out of the pram and decrying them as Russian propagandists (despite amnesty being all but banned in russia)
First time I've seen an RAF Rivet Joint flying so far north and indeed, West, together with a USAF Global Hawk.
There is also a US Navy EP3 south of Odessa.
Crimea is getting some serious attention from NATO at the moment.
The global hawk is the aircraft to the left of Crimea.
But even if they were to 'buckle', it's unlikely to have much influence on the anti-Russia coalition. All that would happen is that you would hear more voices in Germany calling for a peace settlement, but the likes of the US would not pay much attention to this - the Russian energy situation hardly impacts on them at all.
It must scald your hole to see Germany give refuge and safety to 1 millions Ukrainians while the UK grudeningly takes 100k.
Russia doesn't want the west's support, but it wants to erode the support for Ukraine. And this is precisely how they are doing it, by getting an otherwise respected organization to give them a hand once in a while. It is not the first time Russia gives support to people and causes that are usually against them because they are not looking for sympathy, they are looking for division and discontent.
Only because there is unlimited supply of weapons ,aid and equipment.
If it were an Age of Empires 2 map the Ukrainians would have michi resources.
Doesnt bother me in the slightest. Doesnt bother the Ukranians either it seems😂
Well the CNG tanks are getting filled up and they should have one LNG terminal built by spring.
The tanks get them 30 days at 100% usage. (thanks to a previous poster for posting that info).
But how much LNG can this terminal handle? Will it cover the amount of gas needed that nordstream 1 would have delivered?
If the answer to that is no, we’ll then the problem hasn’t been sorted unfortunately.
That's six months of planning away and the EU plans to have done with oil by year end. Gas may take a good bit longer but overall anyone exposed to Russian gas will be in a way better position by next summer.
How though?
Germany will have an LNG terminal but will it cover their equivalent NG usage?
If so- grand, if not- problem.
Just as Boris, his many failings, clown antics and his demise are worth as little as the evaporation off my urine. The fact is Germany do what they can, France do what they can, UK does what it can, and you have a little Englander attitude toward the EU that was bought and paid for by Vladimir.
You think Germany subsidices the war, and that is horseshit. Germany gets electricity from Russia, if the supply stops, it will be replaced by French Nuclear power which is currently sold to the UK. To suggest the flow of oil and power is a one way street isd toddler level understanding, it is all 1 market.
10% of UK homes are heated by Norweigan Hydro-power, that power is getting cut off this winter due to low water levels in Norway, Norway aslo supplies Germany and Denmark. The entire continent and UK and Ireland is interconnected for Electricity and an electicity bill paid in Bermingham is contributing as much to Russia as an electricity bill in Berlin or Bratislava. Your xenophobic Brexit blinkers refuses to allow you to see that.
This is what they are all working on, except maybe Hungary who want the EU to build them a pipeline. Apart from the LNG, Africa is one new gas option but there are currently supply issues there as well. In due course we'll start to move away from gas as a main energy source, which should help electricity prices as well.
Move away from gas to what?
Russians still leaving apparently. Putin in very poetic mood
Renewables plus backup technology eventually. In the meantime the dysfunctional European energy trading market really needs to be sorted out. Gas has always been seen as the cheap backup to wind and solar until it got to point where it is now the only form of energy setting all prices.
Not to mention Gazprom being behind Germany's green movement and the push to renewables that really was a vote for Russian gas and the insane demonising of zero CO2 nuclear. I'm sure other countries 'green' movements were probably similarly funded.
Schroder should probably be behind bars.
We could say the same of our own failure to adopt nuclear power over the past 5 decades. There is 1 country in Europe which has addressed this issue and its not the UK nor indeed Germany. France is the only country that offers any European buffer against Russian energy blackmail. It is French Nuclear power that allows UK to hide behind a fake facade of holding a high moral ground on the issue.
Ah right, renewables. Check back in about a decade, that ship might have come in
Ships already in, you can continue sticking your head in the sand all you like but it is already 37% of Europes electricity.
I think the French have a bunch of issues according to the FT:
German baseload power for delivery next year, the benchmark European price, was up more than 5 per cent at a record €452.50 per megawatt hour — five times higher than the price this time last year. The equivalent French contract was up 4 per cent, exceeding €600 per megawatt hour for the first time on record.
and
In France, where rivers are used to cool nuclear power plants, low water levels had also affected generation, he added. More than half of France’s nuclear power capacity is offline for maintenance.
...
Yes, they do and the effect of those issues will not be felt in France as they will supply their domestic market first. The ones who will suffer are their export markets. Uk, Germany, Italy ext.
The simple fact is if the import of gas from Russia ceases entirely this winter there will be rolling blackouts everywhere including Ireland and the UK. The biggest exporter of electricity today is Sweden, followed by Germany. The German export is generated from Russian Gas, the biggest importer is Italy and The UK is a net importer.
As long these people have votes you'll have the Joe' Biden's and Donald Trump's of this world continue to get elected.
Tight lipped about the strike
Still going strong
Anyone killing orcs is my friend - at least while Putin's obscene war continues.
On average.
No good when we need wind on a wind less week or fortnight. What provides electricity then?
