For those of us that refuse to use that what three words nonsense, the eircode is D22AV20
IIRC Tesla use the entrance well before that eircode. The Tesla flags will be at the entrance, think this is the one..

Hey guys,
For anyone that has picked up their Tesla in 2022, can you advise what cables you got with the car? In April Tesla initially said that the mobile connector was not going to be included in the car, but backtracked. I order mine on March 1st, so im just curious what will come with the car. I am expecting a Type 2 to Type 2 (blue cable) and also the Mobile connector.
Got my Model 3 in early March, included were the two cables. Type 2 (7kW on single phase/ 11kW on 3 phase) and the Granny. From what I gather, the two cables are still included in Ireland, but not 100% sure re the Granny..
The UMC (granny cable) and type2 will be included.
To date, the only region where the UMC is not included is the US
Thats great, thanks
Thx, I’m collecting my M3 13th September. Ordered zappi to be fit but worst case I’ll be able to use granny cable at home.
Does finance need to be green lit before a delivery date and vin is assigned? I'm hesitant to order accessories and car charger until I have these things set in stone
I didn't get a text to book my delivery so I contacted Tesla. They had my phone number wrong although it was correct on the original order. They manually booked in 13th Sept anyway.
I got the Zappi installed last week - looks like a great little unit. Every time I pass by it cant help undocking the charger for a second (like I have something to plug it into 😊) and then putting it back! 😄
I'm booked in for 13th also - did you go for the morning or evening slot?
What number did you use to contact them?
I checked my account and had the same issue
Thanks
I'm booked for 2pm
I emailed the contact who was sorting out the finance and grant forms
Yeah my number was wrong also, looks like it got cropped lol
Scheduled in now for the 21st, seems they had a completely wrong number, thought it was cropped but its some of my number and a few random digits?!
All the trade in jazz presumable happens next?
I'd definitely wait for provisional approval from the finance company before pulling the trigger. You should get that decision in a day or two.
I've just placed the order for the Zappi to be installed, going to be a long month before can plug it into my M3.
I've had to call AIB for them to say the Finance is approved on their side. I think the guy I was dealing with on Tesla might be on some PTO, haven't got any updates from him since last week and I've asked about sending the deposit to Tesla. I believe AIB or FI require the Invoice to then be sent to them once finance has been approved. I dont think my guy has done this yet.
Ah - the SEAI charger grant doesn't need you to have or own a car any longer .. so might as well apply and get that ball rolling (though maybe I shouldn't be telling folk this - the queues to get sparks are long enough as it is !)
Just wondering if anybody can confirm whether a Model Y bought from the Tesla Irish inventory will have radar or is it gone from them entirely?
If the system is the same as the Model 3 - how do people find the enhanced autopilot on it? I know there are complaints about phantom braking but I'm also cognisant of the fact that sometimes these things can be over exaggerated. My main use of AP would be driving the M7 from Dublin to Limerick a few times a month, I'm not pushed about it working around town etc.
Thanks for any help!
To answer my own question… looks like they are all ex radar now - and then I watched Bjorns video from a couple of weeks ago which confirms my worries that they have borked AP by going to cameras only 😢 - you have to have auto headlights on, which don’t work, and auto wipers, which are similarly poor (though less of an issue than the headlights).
I was inches from buying one of the MY that they currently have in stock but can’t do it after watching that video.
I think you are incorrect there, it's only the NA cars that are non-radar. Cars in EMEA and APAC still -so far anyway - come with radar.
OK thanks - I did a search online that suggested that from April the EU cars would be non-radar ... but that might have meant the Berlin built cars.
I test drove the Y in Sandyford today - all in all, very impressive - suspension is quite crashy, I was surprised; tyre noise is quite high - other than that, I couldn't fault it. AP seemed to work great on the M50 but had a fit at every traffic light on the N11, I tried to turn off traffic light recognition but failed.
Humming and hawing at the moment about ordering - presumably I will wait until just after they're both sold before I decide 😂
The traffic light means "stop" when you are the only car driving towards the lights on cars with upgraded FSD like the demos have. I'm not sure about enhanced AP if it's the same. However, the standard autopilot that comes with car totally ignores the traffic lights. If you are following another car, it just follows the others through the traffic lights.
You can override the stop by just tapping the throttle to make it go.
what do you meat it had a fit at the traffic lights?
It kept trying to stop at green lights, brakes would come on out of the blue, even with a car in front of us. I felt like it was a long way behind the car we were following, much further behind than in a VW with adaptive cruise - but perhaps that is adjustable…
And yes the demo had fsd which I wouldn’t spec.
Also, the demo was on 19’s - hard to believe the car can take a bigger wheel without the ride being awful?
