Heard this alright.
Will be interesting to see how he pairs up with Cormac Daly over in Castle Avenue. Two former Navan players and all that jazz.
Thats some lock options they will have with Mick Kearney too and Fionn Gilbert
JJ is mobile enough to play six, that’s a loss for Wesley but a bit of a statement of intent signing from Tarf.
Cormac Daly started 6 in the AIL final v us. So he will probably stay there

Queens going to be extremely strong this year
Who have they signed? They were plenty good last year based on results
James Wright from ballymena and Jack Boal coming in from harlequins as well as Joe Hopes and Rory Telfer.
They will also get more games from Scott Wilson and Lorcan mcloughlin

Yea June 15th - If a player requests transfer before that date the club has to accept. After June 15th the club has the right to refuse transfer
Ah right. Never knew that. Given under 20s transfers etc happen in August/September
On what grounds could they block, can't force a player to play for you, there's no contract etc. I would understand a junior club "blocking" someone
Theres a couple of deadlines for transfers. June 15th as stainalert says players can move without restriction. after that they must get written approval from their club so basically any transfer between June 16th and October 1st the transfer form must be signed by both clubs
Its the regulations. There has to be some cut off point otherwise clubs can't plan - they could lose a player a week before the season starts.
There is extra room allowed for 20s to transfer and to look for a club especially with players having either never been registered for a club having been in a rugby school or not been registered with a club since minis and players moving to cities for 3rd level and looking for a new club to play for as their home club doesnt provide 20s/is too far away to continue playing so the deadline for 20s is usually early to mid October.
Few grounds/reasons to block. all varies on clubs own circumstances, nummber of players moving etc
