Surely there should be sanctions put on Israeli citizens like they've done on citizens, they should be banned from sporting events and their products should be boycotted in addition no country should be selling them arms to massacre and toture people. They'd wise up very quickly if this was done. Shame of a country

Look at Joe Biden, a centre left politician who was supposedly a bastion of fairness, is pro Israel, has visited Israel more then 10 times according to the White House, he is intrinsically silent and has been from day one…on trouble in that region. Just pays it lip service occasionally.
In the US…they’ve, both sides, got too much to lose…. So Israel don’t care… they have no deterrent.

We're very transactional. It's in our interests to 'contain China' which is why 'we care' about concentration camps but also most brands/franchises seem unwilling to piss off their biggest asian market; Palestine produces nothing for us. I only see the US position changing any more strongly when there is strong pressure from trading partners, like the EU, Canada, etc.
Gazas best hope would be to suddenly discover they were sitting on the majority share of the world's palladium or something. America will only refresh its position when there is an economic motivation to do so.
I believe Israels terrorist activity in this instance was blowing up a leader in the terrorist organisation Islamic Jihad. Seems legit to me.

I've a good working knowledge of Israels history thanks, don't need your links. So was the West bank under Jordanian occupation until the Jordanians gave up their rights to the territory a few decades ago? If not, why not?

There is a massive difference though. Ukraine got massive help and the best of weaponry while the Palestinians have to make do with home made rockets.

From what I recall Israel struck first and killed some senior terrorists while poor old IJ have had to fire hundreds of unguided rockets they just had laying around because those pesky walls prevent them from sending suicide bombers into Israel. Real sad story that big picture

If I was a Palestinian I might ask myself if it might not be a good idea to recognise Israels right to exist seems as how the Jordanians want nothing to do with us, won't take us in and our project to destory Israel and replace it with an Islamic State isnt going too well...but Palestinians dont seem to be too quick on the uptake.
