Anyone know where in Waterford I can get my car aircon system regassed?
Gas comes from Russia so I’d say the sanctions in place will mean you will have to put up with the ‘de-gassed’ air-con…😀😀
Do it yourself , pump and gas from halfords , sub €80 . Easy job any numpty could do it. Most regas places €150 nowadays
would you by any chance know any of these most places?
Ask your mechanic if he does regas, if he doesn’t ask him if he knows anyone the does (he will more than likely know)

the aircon was blowing hot air and I assumed it was low on gas, it turned out to be a faulty compressor relay, Honda want 55 euro for a new one, ordered 4 off Amazon delivered for less then 40.

A lot of tyre places off regas of aircon
Halfords will do it for you too if you have one near, cost varies but around 130ish I paid, well worth it to me on the day as only one local garage doing it and wouldn't even look at it for a week, Halfords did it instantly.
OP is sorted but just to add a that Kelly's Refrigeration will do it as well (or used to at any rate). Lad swung by in his van and did it outside the house. It was a few years back, so can't remember how much it cost unfortunately, but it didn't strike me as excessive at the time
If Halfords can/do do it, id safely say everyone can do it ..........................
Fair enough, assuming one knows where to put it in under the bonnet, I have only ever opened the bonnet to put water in window washer! I do all my own diy but draw the line at the car as I know nothing about it!
