Is Dick the biggest Republican name to come out against trump?
I mean, others have said stuff they later took back, but in terms of card carrying Republican through and through, anyone comparable have a go at Trump and stick to their guns (no pun intended in Dick's case)?

There's a video of him defending Bill to a reporter when the whole Monica Lewinsky thing happened. They were tight, which also makes me question what kind of circles the Clintons were mixing in. Trump really can't be trusted by anyone.
I'd say he's more of a symptom. There were signs of what was brewing before the 2000s ended and before Trump ever heard of Twitter. Who remembers the old woman talking to John McCain during that 2008 town hall meeting and saying words to the effect of, "Obama.... I've read about him, and he's..... he's an Arab." and you saw McCain's face momentarily go "What the f*ck??!", and then you had Sarah Palin just being an ignorant scattergun and the Republican base absolutely lapping it up, and then after Obama gets elected, money being pumped into the grassroots cult of fear and ignorance known as the Tea Party. And all of this became self-sustaining once social media really took off, and it gave all these groups a way to directly communicate and not especially need the Republican party apparatus. And into that breach stepped Donald Trump.
If that is to happen I would prefer Don Jr to go first, lead by example.

I think it's great.
There was a time he was 24/7. you couldn't escape him. But then he lost the election, was banned from YouTube, Twitter and other outlets. Even Fox seems to have abandoned him.
He's left shouting into the void, where he can do little harm.
So things are far quieter, not having to listen to his nonsense. It truly is a blessing.
The only reason people are here (my best guess) is that they are hoping for some cosmic karma, D-Day for 45, the "find out" stage of "f**k around and find out" process... if you will.

This is just a small dip into the many stupid and horrible views she has expressed. Vile is a fair summation and not because she's conservative. And multiple arrests for general disorderly conduct along with failure to appear in court for those charges.
