Toiletries means shampoo, shower gel, soap, sanitary towels.
I used to see a lot of food items in them, but lately people seem to have taken up reading the massive 16 signs around them which say "no food".
The food one was something they did before this nationwide with some food bank(s).
I got the cling film off the scratchcard while completely forgetting that I also got a freebie cling film about 6 weeks ago. So I now have 150 metres of cling film in the drawer which is pretty much the length of Croke Park. No more cling film purchases for me until early 2024
i have given 3 away and i have 3 left

2nd card
The two promos don't stack :( Still a good deal though

I thought Jelly Babies were up to 59 cent or something like that now, even lidl plus can't keep up with the prices.
Same with the wine gums, not that it matters if it's free.
I'm still trying to make sense of this post, I don't understand how having an option of four items to choose from is going to impact Lidl? In fact at the till it occured to me, if you decided to split your shop in two, and scan twice you'd get two scratch cards, hell if you split it into three you'd get three cards.
Also convinced maybe its my paranoid side, that Lidl hide the items, Bourbon Creams all non existant and guess what the cling film is stack to the max again.
You don’t get two scratchcards if you split your shop. I accidentally forgot something at the end of the belt, and when I paid for it in a second transaction I didn’t get a card!

No, you won't. A given customer won't get another scratch card until a certain amount of time (it may be 10 hours, I think it was discussed further up thread) after a purchase awarding a card is made, no matter how many purchases they make in the interim.
It dose not benefit lidl to give more of a choice, they want you to try something new maybe buy it again or clear stock. Giving more of a choice makes it more likely that they are giving people something for free that the might have other wised purchased.
Its one card per 10 hours
Sound. Calling me a clown, nice one...
Then three posts in less than 3 mins telling me its a 10 hour limit.
I'll stick to reading in future 😂
True, though they'd have more success with that tactic if they'd rotate the freebies. Oh look, dark chocolate and cling film and ginger nuts again lol. We should start a running list of what they are because it's rare for something new to turn up!

...buy it again or clear stock... That's exactly what this marketing campaign is all about .
there's no real interest from people at the top to send more stock of existing/upcoming scratch card items, to fill empty shelfs ( not til a critical mass of customers complain about it )
Based on huge data they process , Lidl have a fair idea what certain shoppers habits are, and they adjust the risk/reward accordingly.
From a discussion with folks who go more often at the shop - 'Waste not' chilled corner in the last 4 weeks : 20c items are history, 90c are the old 20c , 2e on most items. big meat cuts only 30% off
i got a 20c item on July 27th
Also depends on the branch you visit. Different shops different managers.
Got a few 20c Rocky Road desserts on 28th. Yummy
Kilkenny store closing soon so vouchers to look forward to at some stage. Pity they can’t spell the months of the year 😂😂
Closing for six months?
They’re knocking it and rebuilding it and they’ve bought a house that was next door to it. They’ve knocked that, opened up the boundary wall and they’re building houses afaik.
edited to include link
Still strange that it is taking the better part of 7 months to do it, they used to throw them up a bit quicker than that. Probably to do with the lack of builders and building supplies about.
If anyone here is living in Kilkenny they might do us all a favour and pop in to that Lidl before it closes on Sunday in case they are handing out 10 off 50 vouchers for a nearby store. We could do with a feast to stop the current famine of Lidl vouchers.
Lidl being built in Mallow to the roof, glass in etc but a not too sure when the opening date is yet. The old Lidl stayed open as new build is on a different site so there may not be vouchers.
6 months is typical where they totally demolish and rebuild on the same site. Example being Portlaoise closed Oct 21 and opened 5 May 22, original plan was April. I think Greystones was Aug 21 / Feb 22.
They gave offered vouchers for 4 weeks post closure redeemable in stores near to the closed store (but work everywhere); then there are 4 weeks of vouchers for new store on reopening.
So hopefully we get 4 weeks starting next week.

PARKRUN922 is Cashew Nuts or Fresh Mixed Berries
Marrowfat Peas or Henry Hippo Jellies on first scratch card
Treats starting 11/8
Going to hedge my bets that the next scratchcard prizes will be dark chocolate / savoury rice as there were boxloads of the stuff in the Lidl Plus section in my local supermarket today!
I saw the big 1.39 chocolate bars here, hoping that's one.
