You can't really compare DDG to Ward though - it's more DDG to Schmeichel - and they are priced the same as such. The idea of the double up though is what folk are looking at, would you be happy with Iversen starting for instead of Ward?
Does anyone else feel like the start has crept up on them a bit? I've been tinkering here and there for a few weeks but feel quite underprepared compared to previous seasons.
From what I've read Iversen is the better keeper.
And I think the Leicester and United defences are very comparable, a sample size of four years has them within one CS of each other.
My point is that having the Leicester keeper isn't a bad thing, don't let the 4m price tag get in the way of having him.
Plus Periodic is always on the rag.
Something very different from the norm. Could go either way. Last year I went very templatey and ended up 2k. Newcastle are interested in Barnes and Harrison so would keep an eye on that. Not sure on Castagne either, but good luck. Tempted to go without Kane and Haaland myself.

I like it, a bit different than the template at the moment. My main question mark would be Raya in goal but 4.5m goalies is slim pickings (have Meslier myself). I presume the plan is to rotate leaving one of your 5m+ players on the bench each week depending on fixtures? If you were looking for a bit more cash could always downgrade one of your defenders to Williams.

I want Kane starting and I know I'll want more City for GW2 and I don't like booking in transfers in advance so I've decided to go for a threemium. If both Haaland and Kane do well GW1 I can see people tearing up their teams or wildcarding GW2 to get both so hopefully that happens! Main sacrifices I've made are 4.5m goalie instead of a 5m or 5.5m, Walker instead of Cancelo and no 8m midfielder who more than likely would have been Diaz or Mount.
Anyone any thoughts or comments?

I’m pretty much same as this except I have saka instead of sancho and Neto over martinelli. I was set on saka but I think I prefer your combination.
Rashford / Martial / Sancho pretty much guaranteed to start the first few games for united IMO. Ronaldo hasn't had a preseason at all , missed their training camp/tour and has only played 45 mins. No way he walks back into the team especially when he is pushing for a move.
If you're only playing four at the back surely you get Williams and use the extra million to upgrade one of your mids?
I doubt anyone can be certain that Ronaldo doesn't come in, throw his toys out of the pram and demand to play. United assets can get in the bin when Ronaldo is on the pitch IMO.
It's also easy to see a scenario where they all start, united aren't winning at HT and you have 80,000 d!cjheads at OT shouting SUUUUUUUUUUIIIIIII, leaves Ten Hag in a tight spot, he doesn't want to get booed on his first day out
Yes the plan is to rotate Neto, Bailey, Zinchenko , Digne & Trippier depending on fixtures & form.
The other 6 are mainstays.
And yes if I want a 6/6.5m midfielder I’ll likely find that with a move of Zinch/Trip/Digne to Patterson

Don't start with Cucurella. He's very unlikely to start gw1 where ever he is. If you want him if he does transfer to Chelsea get him then and even at that I'd wait til he actually starts a few games for them, he might be eased into the team/system

Not overly happy with that midfield....
He can demand to play all he wants , but Ten Hag seems to have a tight regime so can't see him folding to Ronaldo's bullshit. I don't think united fans will be demanding Ronaldo comes on as most want him out of the club. If they are drawing / losing with 10/15mins to go I could see him coming on then, but not outside of that. Rashford at 6.5 , down as a midfielder when he will be playing upfront, seems like a value punt to me. Agree if Ronaldo starts in future its time to bin all other assets, but can't see that happening for the first few weeks.
I'm a Spurs fan so I'll weigh in here, I'd be 99% certain Perisic will start on Saturday while Doc v Emerson is 50/50. It's also been noticeable how much better Perisic's crossing is compared to any of the others, which bodes well for Son/Kane/Kulu numbers

Someone who hasn't been mentioned is Dewsbury Hall. Two goals and three assists in pre-season and same price as Bailey. Could be a cheap escape route if Bailey doesn't work out.
Yep he's definitely in my team until the CL starts. He had a late start to pre season due to an injury at the end of last season and then getting Covid but he started last Saturday and I think he'll get at least 70 mins at the weekend

JWP is a great pick IMO but the fixtures are chronic. I like Toney, plan on bringing him in GW3 but can see how he could do well for the first two also. Foden is a great pick
