Pretty sure Euro Giant have Maxwell House and Kenco instant coffees.
I think so, I spotted that in the middle aisles at the weekend so it must just be a special
Sorry if already answered, but where do you find this famous onion relish in stores?
Would it be near the cranberry sauce etc above the freezers?
In my local store, it's in the section with vinegar, sunflower oils & pickles, etc..
Yes, I had the exactly the same problem and found that there is a box of "relishes" above the veg freezer in my local (Sandyford) store which mostly remained full of tomato and other (2-3) relishes so didn't get re-stocked very often and when it did the first item that got bought was the onion relish so I never saw any onion relish for sale.
Recently my store got a top up of stock, I was there shortly after and I grabbed a jar. Will be on the lookout foe more stock as it arrives.
It's also in a mixed box of other relishes so have a good rummage and the Jalapeno relish is nice as well.
Haha, got these tonight, and you're not wrong, they're very mini!!
Tasty though... 👍
For those that like clementines/mandarins/tangerines, I bought both the punnet for €1.99 and the string bag for €0.85c the other day. The punnets are nice, but the bagged ones are wayyyyy nicer. 😋 delicious. You definitely have to squeeze them all gently before buying as there is often one turning or bad in the bag, that unless removed will turn the others, but plenty with all fresh in them. I am going to grab another couple of bags today and hope I don't overdose on them.
They are all seedless, so I guess they are clementines.
Why is there never any ricotta in the mascarpone/ricotta box? Never, ever! 😔
The caramelised onion relish is nice enough, but a bit too sweet for me.
I'll have a lookout for those little oranges, thanks @Suckit, I hate when they have seeds in them!
Will they ever get canned tuna steak back in the Cork City Aldi? I don't like the chunk tuna.
Have the specially selected yoghurts gone everywhere? The black ones in the oval shaped tubs. Were a regular in our shop for years. Haven't seen them in weeks.
Generally speaking their yoghurt offerings have fallen off a cliff. Obviously supply issues.
Spotted these new Moser Roth "premium style" Chocolat Compose bars with 33% almonds - mix of ground, flaked and whole (milk, dark and white versions).
Next level. Seriously.
What aisle are they in? Are they in the chocolate and biscuits? The own brand fruit and nut big bars are better than Cadbury.
The chocolate bar aisle - packaging is a white cardboard box. Here's a pic of the dark one

Nice one. I'll definitely pick them up when I'm in over the weekend.
Yes defo missing their yogurts = must be gone for months now...? and seems a space on the shelf left empty for them. Some new breads in the gluten free section and new biscuits also but poor value with only 8 in the box (oat and raisin).
Not Aldi related, but in Dealz they have the most amazing relatively new sambo... Cajun chicken double decker... only like €2.25, stunning toasted or untoasted 😍🤤 You're welcome 😌
+1 for the Caramelized Onion. Its lovely and very versatile on all kinds of sandwichs.
Very reminiscent of Ballymaloe Relish. Fraction of the price, of course.
Thanks for sharing 👍
If they're the ones I'm thinking have Lidl have their own brand of them.
These sauces are far better than they have any right to be at the price point €1.49. nice on meat, chips etc.
I'm not sure if discovering these has been a blessing or a curse, the entire bar disappeared far too quickly. I have some discipline when it is plain chocolate but anything with nuts or other fillings through it and I'll fly through the bar. I wonder why that is?
Sure lookit, at 33% nuts they are practically a protein source and a health food! :D
Got their new product Loaded Fries with meatballs and marinara sauce, its currently on special for 1.49 in the freezers. Had it last night and while not awful I wouldnt get it again and not at the 2.49 regular price.
Any pics
Give staff your name and number to keep when the batteries come in again, they will keep you whatever you need and give you a call when they are ready to be collected..
Irish beef, eggs
didnt take any, its on the site here https://groceries.aldi.ie/en-GB/ALDIIE/p-meatball-marinara-loaded-fries-500g-carlos-takeaway/4088600494074 I think the 1.49 price finishes tomorrow and then its 2.49. There is also a cheese and gravy version. The meatball version has a cheese sauce that I didnt use as I hate the stuff, it is not actual grated cheese which would have made it taste nicer. I find cheese sauces too pungent but love cheese itself.
Plenty of tool batteries in Headford rd. Retail pk. Galway yesterday (they are at the cash registers)
yea I tried the cheese and gravy version, meh! like that, didnt use the cheese as its the sauce stuff, not cheese! the gravy was ok though, wouldnt be rushing back...
Sorry, but I have to giggle at those buying "loaded fries" from a supermarket fridge and then lamenting that they don't taste so good.
Really, what did you expect??
