culchie loves them ;)
I had them in the basket and put them back π
Said the same to my wife last week, we haven't bought them in a few months but fancied them. That's a serious price rise.
Shock price of skin on fries in Aldi - β¬2.49 now. No thanks
Batteries are on sale Thursday.
Has anybody bought the ultralight carry on suitcase? Think its 29.99.
Would do a job as a carry on 10kg bag.
Just wondering about the quality.
Thanks
Mature cheddar cheese on thick slice of toasted sourdough with the carmelised onion relish. Delicious.
well they could have been good but they cheaped out on the ingredients by using a cheese sauce. The chips themselves were decent but if it was an attempt to copy Subways meatball marinara then it failed
Sorry, but I have to giggle at those buying "loaded fries" from a supermarket fridge and then lamenting that they don't taste so good.
Really, what did you expect??
yea I tried the cheese and gravy version, meh! like that, didnt use the cheese as its the sauce stuff, not cheese! the gravy was ok though, wouldnt be rushing back...
Plenty of tool batteries in Headford rd. Retail pk. Galway yesterday (they are at the cash registers)
didnt take any, its on the site here https://groceries.aldi.ie/en-GB/ALDIIE/p-meatball-marinara-loaded-fries-500g-carlos-takeaway/4088600494074 I think the 1.49 price finishes tomorrow and then its 2.49. There is also a cheese and gravy version. The meatball version has a cheese sauce that I didnt use as I hate the stuff, it is not actual grated cheese which would have made it taste nicer. I find cheese sauces too pungent but love cheese itself.
Irish beef, eggs
Give staff your name and number to keep when the batteries come in again, they will keep you whatever you need and give you a call when they are ready to be collected..
Any pics
Got their new product Loaded Fries with meatballs and marinara sauce, its currently on special for 1.49 in the freezers. Had it last night and while not awful I wouldnt get it again and not at the 2.49 regular price.
Sure lookit, at 33% nuts they are practically a protein source and a health food! :D
I'm not sure if discovering these has been a blessing or a curse, the entire bar disappeared far too quickly. I have some discipline when it is plain chocolate but anything with nuts or other fillings through it and I'll fly through the bar. I wonder why that is?
These sauces are far better than they have any right to be at the price point β¬1.49. nice on meat, chips etc.
If they're the ones I'm thinking have Lidl have their own brand of them.
+1 for the Caramelized Onion. Its lovely and very versatile on all kinds of sandwichs.
Very reminiscent of Ballymaloe Relish. Fraction of the price, of course.
Thanks for sharing π
Not Aldi related, but in Dealz they have the most amazing relatively new sambo... Cajun chicken double decker... only like β¬2.25, stunning toasted or untoasted ππ€€ You're welcome π
Yes defo missing their yogurts = must be gone for months now...? and seems a space on the shelf left empty for them. Some new breads in the gluten free section and new biscuits also but poor value with only 8 in the box (oat and raisin).
Nice one. I'll definitely pick them up when I'm in over the weekend.
The chocolate bar aisle - packaging is a white cardboard box. Here's a pic of the dark one

What aisle are they in? Are they in the chocolate and biscuits? The own brand fruit and nut big bars are better than Cadbury.
Spotted these new Moser Roth "premium style" Chocolat Compose bars with 33% almonds - mix of ground, flaked and whole (milk, dark and white versions).
Next level. Seriously.
Have the specially selected yoghurts gone everywhere? The black ones in the oval shaped tubs. Were a regular in our shop for years. Haven't seen them in weeks.
Generally speaking their yoghurt offerings have fallen off a cliff. Obviously supply issues.
The caramelised onion relish is nice enough, but a bit too sweet for me.
I'll have a lookout for those little oranges, thanks @Suckit, I hate when they have seeds in them!
Will they ever get canned tuna steak back in the Cork City Aldi? I don't like the chunk tuna.
Why is there never any ricotta in the mascarpone/ricotta box? Never, ever! π
