The story is nuts!
I saw that earlier, if you read it the trust sought advice and approval, including the government. The Bin Laden family are apparently well respected, with the notable exception of Osama who was disowned.
A non-story in the grand scheme of things.

The cash for honours scandal. Apparently an aide had promised a knighthood in return for the suitcase of cash.
It's similar to councillors here accepting brown envelopes for planning permissions, although I can't remember if the knighthood was actually bestowed.

It's a non-story, the 2 half brothers of Osama had nothing to do with him or Al-Qaeda.

Its not that big of a deal compared to the Bush family connection to the Bin Ladens and the fact we all do business with China, UAE and Putin.

This story is interesting but doesn't have any earth shattering implications to it. Perhaps a means by which the family hoped to protect assets.
