Not a mention of the milage, service history, last time it was even NCT'd. Thousands of views on it and still for sale. Drives me mad that.
Mileage and NCT is in picture number 7
It's due a NCT(month or two left) and makes me wonder did he put it through(90 days) and it failed and now trying to get rid of it. Dear enough considering it's due a NCT for the new owner.
I did'nt stick it there. What's your point? The car meets all the criteria for inclusion in the thread
13k miles, 1 owner and NCT til 2024. Is it worth €1850?
Haha thats class, less than 1k miles in 8 years.
I've said this many times, but I bought an absolutely mint 1988 one about 7 years ago with 12k miles for €80.
Love it. I'm sure it's long gone
Jeez relax Jack 🤯, I don't know how it happened but the ad was in my reply box and I couldn't remove it, I had no option only to post it to empty the reply box.
Posted in all the private Facebook groups this morning, every second comment was "let me know when it's for sale"... Didn't think it would make it to DD, that'll show ya how many spoofers are out there.
I think the price might be a factor there. Did I mention I paid €80 for a 12k mile minter? 😅
Plus I paid 200 quid (or thereabouts…I can’t remember) for this with 15 months NCT:
its tasty, tasty, very very tasty. Its very tasty ! 🎶🎶
I love it! Timeless classy machine.
Aren't they very expensive on the new motor tax regime? As in €1250 motor tax even for the manual? The seller has probably hidden the reg for this very reason and removed the amount of motor tax that DD pre-filled in when he entered the reg (mandatory to get it greenlighted)
Apart from that, it's a lot of car for the money. I had one back in the day (also a bangernomics car during the last recession) and it was a very decent, reliable family car, I miss it.
Fair point. I hadn't realised they were that much on the new system. I see the seller has a number of other cars for sale so no dope. But then, no other petrol 9-5 showing its tax either.
I drive an 06 2.2 diesel so I don't sweat such things (no dpf and ultra reliable) but bangernomics heads may do yes.
And if you like the Dame Edna facelift model, you could be on the lookout for an '06 or '07 with the "cheap" €710 2l displacement based motor tax. There are still a good few of these around. But I guess the pickings for good bangernomics cars are slim these days. I had a look myself the other day and it was poor compared to just a few years ago.
Four cars for sale and he's a "Verified Private Seller". Boll*x. Donedeal needs to stop this.
God forbid someone sells a couple of cars on the side?🙄
The seller is only verified because they confirmed their phone, email etc..
You do have an option...
Profile -> Drafts -> Delete
Brilliant thanks for that, it seems to happen a lot.
What's the NCAP rating?
Likely better than a motorbike or a pushbike. And probably alright for a supermini knockabout towncar.
Bingo multispace with NCT til July 2023 and tax til the end of the month for €825
Handy versatile old thing for this money
My late father loved those things, never got one though, bought a Roomster instead and loved its versatility
good find, gone already
Low mileage automatic with nearly a years test for a grand, even if its a Megane, is a rare thing in the current climate
Lots of Saabs out there in the bangernomics market. Any concerns about being able to source parts, or are they generic enough? Would love a 9-5...
I have owned 4 saabs have 2 currently have never had a problem getting parts
Gone.
Somebody was quick and did well 🙂
Aero anyone ?
An awful pile of shite in manual form. An automatic would be worse. I wouldn't pay a cent more than €400.
