Oh p*ss off with your Putinesque Propaganda.
So we back to the usual
Exactly. So depending on which side you are on one is called sanctions while the other calls it blackmail.
For example Russia is invading Ukraine. Western countries involving themselves are being sanctioned by Russia for interfering and having their gas supply turned off as punishment or in other words sanctioned
It's a double edge sword depending on if you are Russian or Ukrainian. (Or Western )
Some dopes on here enjoying freedom of speech.
‘what about…’
PFO!
One country is being punished for illegally invading its sovereign neighbor and murdering countless thousands of civilians in a desperate attempt to revive a dead empire.
The other countries are being punished for helping that neighbour country to defend itself.
The difference really isn't very hard to see.
If Russia ends its war of aggression, the sanctions will end.
If European countries stop supporting Ukraine, Ukraine will end.
Like I say, the difference isn't hard to see.
Einstein was an inventor, a teacher, an author, a mathematician, a philosopher, an educationalist,a science writer,an academic and a theoretical physicist.
However he is dead so he missed the whole invasion to date.
Back to sanctions vs blackmail
What part of Russia invading Ukraine did you miss,Einstein
As posted already Russia (Gazprom) have cut gas supply to Latvia.
Words like blackmail being thrown around but when European countries and multinational companies disrupt supply if products or services to Russia its called sanctions.
Good example of propaganda there
When I saw the videos of the Azov fighters surrendering i wondered if they would have been better trying to fight their way back behind the line. An almost certain death but it would have been quick and they have taken a good few of the Russian thug army with them along the way.
My worst fears came true, the remaining ones are no doubt being tortured and starved before the Russians find some excuse to kill them too.
And its not the first time it happens
Forget thirst for knowledge or the desire to better humankind, spite and malice are the biggest motivators that drive progress and innovation.
Of course a long way behind good old-fashioned greed.
A washed up former conservative right-wing politician cum commentator on Rupert Murdoch's news channel is not exactly representative of the 'Australian media'.
Trump would have said "f*CK Ukraine and NATO, America first, and Putin's a pretty smart guy and he likes me too, isn't that tremendous?"
Indeed. If it wasn't for WW2 Churchill's name would be dirt in the west today. A pompous colonialist and racist. But he was there and led the country through the darkest years of the last century and that makes a lot of difference.
Zelensky is far from squeaky clean, with some dubious ties to certain oligarchs, and he may bear some responsibility in underestimaing the Russian threat, but since the end of February he has been pretty outstanding and that will always be to his credit.
Surround them with Nukes ready to fire in preparation for if Putin launches a Nuke first then they can retaliate 360 degrees. I think force is what Russia understands or Putin more like. Russia has already threatened the world with Nukes several times since the war so why can't other countries do the same ? I wonder what Trump would have done ?
How russia murdered Azovstal POW's
You are being economical with the truth, to say the least. Saddam Hussein was regarded as a monster from when he started using chemical weapons against his own people, and when he invaded Kuwait. He might appear to have been regarded more favourably when he got into a war with Iran, but that's relative to Iran. The Taliban might have been regarded as less awful than Al Queda or Islamic State, but not "our guys".
Your reference to "the special interest media cartel" speaks volumes for you rather warped outlook.
And sometimes you have to ally yourself to fairly unsavoury characters, because the alternative is to allow even more awful characters to win. (I'm not implying that this applies to Zelensky, by the way - far from it)
Interesting story here that deals with the hyper missile craze. As relevant to Russia and China to the rest. In short their is nothing fancy or special about them. Or if they even exist in the way we are lead to think.
Great to see questions being asked of this guy. He's not the person the western media have portrayed at all. Remember Saddam Hussain was "our guy" also at one stage as where the Taliban. Don't hold your breath and expect BBC/SKY UK/CNN or any more of the special interest media cartel to ask those questions any time soon though.
A big part of the problem is Yanukovych, a Russian puppet, and his agents in the Ukrainian government, who started all this separatist stuff in the first place Orange Revolution - Wikipedia
Viktor Yanukovych - Wikipedia
He talks about Russian speaking Ukrainians, those are the same people who are resisting the invaders & fighting back against the tyrant murdering rapist scum. He's just repeating the same lies as the other deluded far right & hard left Putinist apologists.
It depends, take advantage how? If you mean some type of invasion, I would think no, then I would see a case for use of nuclear weapons.
Who claims he's a saint , Ukraines effectively been at war with Russia since 2014 , and Ukraine was already disaster of a country before then , he got in to power in 2019 ,(with a large majority )
And the line about he's no Churchill ? Ha , Churchill was a war prime minister , he wasn't a great peacetime leader...
But during Britain's dark moments in the second world war he provided leadership .
As has Zelensky , he stayed in Kiev , he said the right things ,he put the Russian invasion front and centre in every parliament in the west ..
When this is over people will point out his mistakes ,failings and weaknesses -but he was the guy who was there at the time - and he did what he could ..
Russia is slowly being grinded down into the ground left with nothing but ancient soviet weaponry. Could it be argued that the west could take advantage of Russia's vulnerability at this stage ?
Nuclear is different. People are afraid of contamination. If you're working abroad to undermine public opinion, dousing them in radioactive fallout wouldn't be the best path to take.
I'll post this again for those who missed the first one
If they knew in advance, they would clear out. I'd imagine. But a blast of that magnitude would be seen far and wide, and especially at night. By now, also with so many dumps being targeted, people will not want to be anywhere near them, let alone work in them. They must be running out of "safe" places to use as stores.
Good to hear a different view in the western media.
Some significant developments and information here.

Russia is “running out of steam” in its war on Ukraine, the chief of Britain’s MI6 foreign intelligence agency, Richard Moore, said in a brief comment on Twitter on Saturday.
The MOD do not make claims lightly.

Defence (MoD) said the Kremlin was “growing desperate”

The tweet was in reference to Ukrainian soldiers 'deserve death by “hanging” and worse!
Its just a hypothesis. I hate the fact Nukes exist. But it would have been a better outcome for Humanity if the A bomb had been dropped on Moscow post ww2 . No Berlin Wall, No Cold War . No Arms race. No more Stalin. It would have stopped communism dead in its tracks and millions more being brutally subjugated and killed.
