The code is preloaded onto the stick itself. You need to set it up and sign in and it'll give you an option to activate the preloaded pass. You can do it later though and there doesn't seem to be an expiry on them.
No clue if you can have multiple preloaded at once though.
€15 for a stick really is a bargain, I wonder is there a new one on the way.
Its the same stick - the price difference is the offer it comes with.
When you turn on the stick, you must register it to your account. The "package" is on the stick. If you don't have sports on your account it will start straight away. If you have sports the package is saved in your voucher section of your account.
Can you buy one and say activate it in 3 months time?
It’s the end of the road for sticks, they will focus on apps.
Is anyone else getting a red banner with "We're having trouble with vouchers right now" when they try to apply a voucher code? Been happening the last few days for me.

Are you using your phone? I had that problem before but using either my desktop or putting the web page into desktop mode resolved it. You could also try a different browser.
Don't think there's been any broadcaster changes for with the URC or HC both sets of fixtures ate out very soon (actual KO times not just weekend of). I was watching via various codes last season for a fraction of the usual cost. Will wait till September and am sure there will be decent codes for sky sports extra then.
Someone on here contacted support and got the code that is on the stick. While doing that you could ask what the expiry is.
If your still having trouble contact chat via your online account. They will be able to advise what the issue is. They may also offer your an alternative offer at the end which may or may not be good value.
I finally found a decent stand alone streaming recorder to record NowTV.
Every year at this time I contemplate getting Sky Q for the new soocer season - primarily because replays are not readily available on demand and the inability of NowTV to record on/to any device easily. 4K sports would be nice also but not a deal breaker for me.
But I still cant justify the annual cost when comparing the total cost of all packages with NowTV, especially as I also have a sat box and get all of the UK Freeview channels for nix.
Im fairly tech-savvy, but am not interested in capture cards because of the messing & setup with a PC with my TV. Came across this box about a month ago that seems popular amongst gamers who publish content to their own channels.
After researching for a few weeks, I took the plunge this week and purchased the ClonerAlliance Box Pro (linky here) off Amazon (linky here). Its fairly exy at £189 (regular price despite the supposed 'discount') or approx €230 - but if it works it would pay for itself over a year compared to Sky Q. Its about the size of a wallet.
It records at a max 1080 and lower, with a frame rate of 60fps or 30fps. This is important as some devices only output at 50fps such as the NowTV stick. I normally use the native TV apps, so for this Im using a Fire TV stick as you can force it to output at specific resolutions. There is a UHD PRO 4K version @£233, but only records at 30fps @4k and you cant get 4K streams yet (I appreciate it may becoming but thats another discussion). There are also some other technical differences between the two, one of which is support for HDCP copy-protection support on the 4K box which could lead to problems on certain devices.
You can record anything that has an HDMI output, as well as other devices with RGB (for use with devices like a VHS video recorder or dvd player) & VGA inputs - but there are other technical considerations, which again, I wont detail here).
Just ran a quick recording test this evening and it works perfectly. Best of all you can have your streaming device running and turn the TV off and it will still continue to record (I assume this means it also wont support the CEC (Consumer Electronics Control) passthrough function for the input device).
There is also the ability to schedule recordings also. The functionality is limted & menus are very basic (for example - you cannot rename recordings), however as a stand alone recording device it does the job perfectly.
For me its the alternative to Sky Q Ive been looking for. Appreciate this thread is for NowTV codes, however there isnt a general NowTV thread and others may be interested in this to record live streams such as sports.
If anyone is interested in more details in the setup or technical issues, ask away.
I am planning to do this and pretty sure you can.
In my case will be 2 months time and be using Sports Extra membership then. Think Sports membership will just save on my account separately when set up the Stick at this stage as am going to take out a 3 month's for €30 offer in coming days. Not bothered waiting for 10 month deal as this will get me up to end of Nov when WC be in full swing and won't need Sports for a month.
AFAIK it automatically preloads this onto your account which can only be used within 30 days of expiry offer you are currently on I think.
So you are just bullshitting.
Why would I be? You think you can theoretically activate a code in 20 years time. All codes have an expiration date.
Do you have the code for this offer please?
If you have an existing Sports Extra subscription within 30 days of the offer finishing you should be offered this if you try to cancel, I was.
Thanks. After posting I found confirmation that every URC game will be on Premier, but I can't remember where and can't find it now. So hopefully they'll have a nine month package in the next week or so as mentioned up thread.
I don't have an existing subscription hence I need the code.
There's no code, it was offered to me when I cancelled my previous subscription.
These codes worked for me in July
10 month deals for sports are now showing on the nowtv website, 25 a month for sky sports, 17 a month for sports extra, add in 5 for boost that doesn’t make it the most attractive deal at 47 a month unless I’m missing something
What was it last year ? With the World Cup will 10 months cover the premier leaugue L/champions league ?
Yes - The last EPL matches are on 28 May 2023.
I think last year it was both sky Sports and sports extra for 25 a month for 10 months. All up front,
Buying 10 sticks seems a better option now?
Yes, €25 a month is big increase on last year.
It's per month though, is there a chance the one off payment might come out?
It was 150 up front for 10 months, so 15 a month.
