On with my weekly Park Run code request, please?
I actually have a parkrun id, that I assumed was inactive. So I've opted back in to alerts, but could still do with this weeks code, please!
The newsletter doesn't come out until late afternoon so unless someone guesses the code, and lidl have changed the sequence recently, it is too early to for anyone to have it.
May as well sign up at parkrun.ie barring someone brute-forcing a million codes every week, that's how we get the code since PARKRUN017 :'(
Ye, I reckon those Facebook posts caught Lidls attention, the Parkrun codes became random shortly afterwards and €10 vouchers disappeared and probably won't be back.

Also, yesterday I noticed I didn't get a scratch-off when I got a freebie and a can of beer. So alcohol doesn't count as a purchase for them, probably already knew that tho.
Legally the beer can't count towards a promotion / voucher offer in any shop, for our own protection, or health, or whatever the convenient bolloxolgy du jour is.
Not complaining etc but second week in a row that there are 2 salad options on the Parkrun freebie, salad selection in both Lidl's near me is normally depleted by lunchtime every day. Like getting nuts or eggs option - can't really be whinging when they are free 🤐

Parkrun freebies have obviously been too popular, hence the change in code sequence and poor items.
I've noticed that on the scratchcards too. Happy Bears or Cling film, really!
Next weeks treats and they are also doing 5 for €5 on some branded foods.
The only goal is to make you to visit the store and buy something, even though you don’t need it. Old marketing tactics.
They could just offer more on one card, the soup/borbons could have been merged with the cling film/bag of sweets so you've more option to choose from
First scratchcard
We collect them and drop them at a local food bank, or if it's shampoo or something aldi has a box for toiletries here.
Well the italian salad is something I buy regularly, so I was happy with that. Cling film will be used in our house too. I don't really care about the freebies - sweets and biscuits are handy for days out/ in the press. I'm really not going to complain about free stuff tbh!
Most weeks I only buy 2 or 3 of the app's - only the stuff we'd actually use. It's not that hard, and I'd be in there shopping anyway.
