Putin's knuckle dragging marauders can't defend both regions without spreading themselves thin
Their stocks are being run down and their personnel and equipment are being depleted
The West can now see that it's not a case of "throwing good money after bad" and will continue to supply
Other former USSR countries are getting itchy
The safe passage of grain could provide welcome motive for multinational bodies to get more involved
It could yet become a perfect storm
Putin's circular logic assured him that there's no element of risk because there's no element of risk
Was he played? Little bite - no response, Little bite - no response, Big bite - Whack !
It seems to be a very calculated, planned attack so it probably is fsb, as stated in the link.
From what I can gather, it seems that one person may have died in the attack. When we consider what the gangster regime are deliberately doing to civilians on a daily basis, it's a bit of a non story (even if it turns out to have been a regrettable mistake by Ukraine).
Interesting read
This guy called it. Then less then 24 hours later there's unconfirmed reports of an unexpected Ukrainian liberation around Izyum. We'll see how it pans out.
They've a long strip of seized land to supply & defend. Can they afford to head south and leave areas north of this between them & the motherland relatively unmanned?
'Massive Missile Attack' By Ukraine Kills 89 Russian Soldiers, Army Regains Some Villages (ibtimes.com)
It appears that Russia have given up on further expansion in the East. Seen a couple of reports that they're starting to hollow out their presence on the Izyum front which has gained zilch for so long. After assaulting Borodychne they may have been pushed back and lost ground behind it.
The South and landbridge to Crimea is more important to them to hold now surely than gaining another couple of kms in the East. I hope they're not seeing sense and getting reinforcements to the South but it seems they are.
You may have missed the original video I posted earlier. It is the same attack (on fsb)-
Looks staged to me. Half a drone lying around with blood on the wings but almost no blood anywhere else. And these things explode sending shrapnel everywhere, they don't leave large parts of the drone intact.
No way RuZZia could survive an expanded war. Even now we have rumblings in Kazakhstan and Chechnya.
Putin may have sped up the collapse and partition of Russia rather than great a greater expansionist Russia.
As I explained in my post, it ties in with the drone attack posted earlier. This was an attack on fsb, apparently, but the later video is obviously trying to say it was a civilian attack. It is the same attack from different times.
Do you literally post anything you find on Twitter? It's a video from a clearly pro Russian Twitter account that came from a clearly pro Russian Telegram account called the Kremlin Laundress.
The arrival of these MLRS must be really frightening for them...making stupid threats like expansion of conflict zone, when its clear that they have great difficulty holding or trying to hold what they have...
But when does the first one roll off the assembly line? Before the war is over, hopefully.
Seems to be the aftermath of the drone attack, posted earlier.
...
With the state those bridges are now in, it's some detour for the RuZZians to get heavy reinforcements across. Any any pontoon Bridge that's made will probably be shortlived. There is enough of the bridge left for light vehicles and soldier to get through but no heavy stuff. Each passing day makes Kherson, more and more uncontrollable for the invaders.
However the WagnerSS scum wearing UAF uniforms may have sized power plant further north. Which is not good news at all. Also RuZZians are making small gains in the East. Even though its small, a gain is a gain.
I'd imagine someone high up in the political world in Germany has decided enough is enough. Especially with the "being held hostage to gas supplies".
And as for Sabina Higgins letter ....... An embarrassment to our nation. We can't criticise the likes of Macron with our own president's wife writing such drivel
They have a bit of a hard neck. They have literally been firing cruise missiles deep into Ukraine from Russian territory - totally illegal under every international law going.
Massive story breaking on Reuters and German magazine Spiegel. Germany has given the green light for a total of 100(!) PzH-2000 self-propelled howitzers to be exported to Ukraine. These will come straight from the assembly line at Kraus-Maffei and as such, it will likely take quite some time for the entire order to be delivered, definitely several years, but this should make Ukraine's artillery position a whole lot better in the medium term. There are currently no other orders for the PzH-2000 outstanding, so once the contracts are signed, production can start immediately, which is a major plus.
That was one of the orders that Scholz had been sitting on since April. Not sure if it was media pressure or the additional reduction in gas deliveries from Russia that was the trigger for him to pull the finger out.
I keep hearing people talking about stopping the war. Like "Stop, Putin" and he stops. It doesn't work like that.
Of course the artillery men would not warn them to stay back hehe
“And I will strike down upon thee. With great vengeance and furious anger. Those who attempt to poison and destroy my brothers”
Go home Russia, you’re drunk.
Russian Foreign Ministry threatens with serious consequences and expansion of conflict zone in case of U.S.-made MLRS will be used against Russian territory

Yes it is!. I'm sure the IT checked just in case it was a prankster.☺️
Is that the wife of the President? Very ill advised of her to write a letter like that.
Probably in the winter??? The Russians were completely at home, whereas the Germans were seriously out of their depth once winter set in. Plus they did not have drones back then. It's a whole new ballgame now. Have you driven trucks in a war situation?
I'm surprised that this has not sparked outrage by now. Not even a token condemnation of Vlad.
Maybe the lack of reaction is a reflection of how the Irish Times is not taken seriously be anyone outside a certain left-wing coterie.
