You couldn't make it up, Helen McEntee, interviewed on the news at one, broke the world record for the most amount of times the words engagement & Agree we're uttered in a single interview.

I know you see it all as entertainment at the end of the day.
But I note that many people are very pleased with the performance of Helen McEntee and her Criminal Reforms in regards to violence against women and Sexual assualts.
Yes Helen is to be commended on some things she done, I won't argue with That Marko.

Every single interview done by a government TD is described on here as a "car crash" or something else. Yet if you listen to the interview it is nothing of the sort. If they actually managed to come up with something new it might be interesting but no, every interview, it is terrible blah blah blah
Helen has done some great work, she is a women in politics so an easy target for some. Afraid they would give her credit for the work she has done and instead try to insult her at every turn. It's extremely boring at this stage.

I think that a figure will be agreed that has to be achieved. The figure as others have said on here will be unachievable and it will be left to a future government to do this. Can truly kicked down the road and into later this decade.
The truth hurts BA. Helen has done some great work with her new bill but that does not mean she has not done a car crash interview. It's possible to do both BA

Yes legally enforceable limits..still does not mean we'll come close to meeting them. We won't. Same for the retrofit targets which are unachievable.

I don't know about anyone else, but I'm sick of these type of posts, constantly trying to weaponise someone's sex, sexuality or race or religion. Seriously, who cares if she's a woman? I for one find a politicians race, religious belief or sexuality irrelevant, whether they're a man/woman even more so.
I judge them on how good or bad they are at their job. Anything else is irrelevant.
Posts like these are undermining, undervaluing and harming actual bona fide cases of targeted prejudices and stigmas.

The Greens will be happy that there won't be white smoke over government buildings if there is an agreement. The problem for the Greens is that they are playing like a big party against two big parties. FF and FG don't want to sacrifice their TDs on the alter of climate change. The Greens, on current polling, will be reduced to 3 seats in a GE. Unelected Greens can make as much noise as they want but the reality is that FF and FG politically have much more to lose from giving into the Greens. It is the elected Greens who will lose their seats if they force a GE. And a GE would wreck all those holiday plans. Not sure if there will be a climbdown but some of the language being used in reporting suggests that agriculture is a major sticking point in negotiations.

So you please explain why every lady TD, but especially Helen, gets these types of comments after every interview?
Just look back and the same was said about another lady a few days ago

Catherine Connolly has made many speeches in the Dail and can speak with better eloquence and effect than any other TD in the Dail.
I think they will reach agreement. A lot of it could be optics.

What about mine and others compliment of Catherine connelly, is she beneath you, I've praised many female TD'S but unfortunately for you as they are not FFG they seem to be irrelevant, utterly bizzare
