Russia used to export more wheat than Ukraine, so there are benefits for them too if they can sell their grain (and fertiliser) to a bigger market. Obviously they won't care whether Ukrainian grain is exported safely or not.

Looks like the bridge leading into Kherson still stands this morning, but the roadway is to badly damaged and is closed to all traffic. Looks like the railway could have been hit too, which really limits the Russians options for resupply.

If Russia gets them we will know in a few wks i say. If they are it could cause Ukraine a lot of headaches the way Ukraine are causing Russia a lot of problems using theirs against them. Its more if they are that good its the huge numbers involved that there looking to get from Iran that will also be a major thing. Hopefully there not as good but I have a feeling they will be decent enough.

I would not like to be an artic drive in that part of the world now......the Russians tried camouflaging fuel trucks to at one stage by covering the tanks with square boxes. They lost a lot of non-fuel supply trucks over that little change.
Iran sees the war as if it's against the USA and NATO, they will do anything to cause any damage to the west.
Iran, Russia and maybe to some extent China are enemys of western/ democratic nations the sooner we realise this the better.
Ukraine needs to be backed to the hilt, Russia can not be allowed to win this, it will enbolden these enemy nations against the west in the future.
