If Pascal was not told till the last minute that means he is not trusted by his civil servants. If Pascal knew something was up he is just doing what FG have done so far in this government, keep putting FF in the shiit and run roughshod over them. Why MM has not yet called this out is baffling.
It is baffling but he's just thinking of December at this stage 😏 but I suspect blood is boiling within FF circles at this stage backbenchers must be Livid as I suspect are FF ministers at this stage .
Night night 😏
Blood has been boiling in FF since the chaos coalition started. They took on some really tough portfolios and FG/Leo undermined them at every opportunity. They couldn't help themselves. It won't be forgotten.
Who is the Fger on Claire Byne Show at the minute? 🙈
Ah the Greens, party so pro environment and stopping climate change, they take business class flights. Won't be the first or last piece that shows them to be hypocrites.
Senator Eimear Curry daughter of Austin
She is one of those whose mantra is anything but a UI because it is what SF want. Why FG and those who want something different are afraid to actually start proposing something different, defeats me.
Screw your courage to the sticking place Fine Gael and let the conversation and planning begin. Creating echo chambers like the Shared Island nonsense isn't it.
Nine pages of a thread on boards about AIB going cashless.
The reaction on the thread doesn't seem to align with the comments on here in terms of the public.
This thread doesn't seem to reflect the public
In terms of going cashless, well I actually agree that the bank should go cashless and Ireland as a country should also take the step to move away from cash totally.
At this stage it is outdated and no longer required with the technology in place.
Of course the government should discuss with the main banks how this would be implemented and also what benefit for the Irish people. So expect reduced rates etc as they would no longer have the overhead of insurance etc involved with moving cash around.
It will also close up all the loop holes involved with cash and non payment of taxes
^^^ That's for the Consumer Issues forum.
This thread is for the political aspect of it, which was an embarrassing shambles.
Did you count up all those pages on your own, well done, well done but Why 🤔😳
Ah jays, nice to gift one of our own a job in the senate.
They put profit above the realities for the rural customers and the government sat on their hands until the public spoke up.
We own a ĺarge chunk of AIB and we bailed them out, but FF/FG/Green were happy to leave them to it.
There's a very funny video available on Twiiter re the focus on Fund Raising of a particular party , and its not SF
Search Irish Daily Times, paraody account, no conspiracies just a bit of fun 😏
She's certainly her late Father's Daughter, politically so to speak 😏
Seems MM worried again, mores lessons need to be learned , just curious when was the last appointment under a FF government to ABP , If anyone knows 🤔
This cracker?
Have you no shame 🤣 I was being restrained so as not to cause distress 😏
Distress?? At this stage in their voting life?? If they don't know what they have been voting for, they are beyond salvation.
I'm of course being cheeky 😁
The number of pages is on the thread.
Look at how many pages on this thread alone and only 514 of them is predicting the downfall of the government 😂
Still sad and you assume those page numbers have a mention of the AIB debacle 🙄
When Austin skedaddled to FG he was called 'Chicken Currie' in these parts. 😁
The thread is about AIB going cashless, anyway seems a pointless exercise trying to explain
But as usual, this thread is not a representation of what is actually been discussed in Ireland.
Sorry for interrupting, will let you back to it
Me too 😉
Brilliant. 🤣
The discussion here was about the political handling of the announcement that AIB were going cashless.
That discussion is verboten as it paints FFG in a bad light.
😁🤣
You shared your amazing research, I asked why the need, what was the point , if you actually spent time going through 9 pages to make a point , an impressive exercise, albeit entirely pointless 🤔
Like turf, the RIC/Tans and 'the leader who shall not be named'.
Have they found Paschal for a comment yet? He is so lucky there is a recess but he will still have to hang one of his officials out to dry or everybody (almost!) will think he fully supported it.
