Yeah this is what i saw this morning. Then i rang tesla and was told there was a VIN assigned to me. ALthough the chrome plugin and searching the source code didn't show me a VIN. So I'd say you're in the same boat as me.

Nope, I changed over to EV last Jan (half way through my ice policy) got screwed. So shopped around this time and got the lowest quote I ever got for any car 355 (premium plus Ioniq 5 worth 55k).
If you go to the Tesla website and select your spec, it tells you when you can expect it.
If you like after your test drive don't delay. In March prices went up, first in US, then UK and followed by Ireland. A further price increase in June in the US, followed by UK..but so far Irish price has held. It's the danger zone and placing an order locks in the price regardless of delivery date. Just so that you are aware...
My EDD is mid to late August and I hadn’t sat in a Model 3 until today. I took a spin to Cork and took a test drive. The weather was terrible and so was the traffic.
It was a M3 RWD Navy with Black interior. I was impressed with the drive and acceleration from +30km/hr.
I was hoping to sit in a white interior model but they didn’t have any…
Anyway, I am happy to part with my own car and take delivery of my Model 3..

I took a test in sandyford and the most impressive thing was after sitting in traffic for a while getting used to the one pedal I was on the m50 and was changing from the overtake into the left lane behind a van and what appeared to be a bumper on the road between the lanes metres ahead of me. I had to make a serious correction to avoid and it handled it like a champ. The left side did end up over the hard shoulder yellow line for a second but I was very impressed how it handled. My current Lexus GS I’m sure wouldn’t be as agile but luckily I’ve never been in a similar situation in that car.
My EDD hasn't changed since I talked to Tesla SA on Friday who said that exact delivery date will be coming soon. *Fingers crossed
Finally some good news I checked my Tesla app and my EDD changed to August 17 - August 31 so I went looking for the VIN and it's in the source code. I'm still waiting for the text message but knowing I've VIN assigned should be a good indication the car is actually coming between those days.
The chrome plugin didn't work for me either because the prefix (5YJ) doesn't apply with cars manufactured in China - it should start with LRW. Use the VIN checker here - https://linktr.ee/teslaupdate
Whatever works for you. However, the Chrome Extension VIN Finder is not specific for 5YJ (Freemont) and will search for any VIN. Glad you are all getting confident with your delivery ..not long to go before you will be enjoying your new toy

That does seem awful cheap considering they were pretty powerful cars too.
Just a thought about charging on my LFP RWD.
I find that I am not running my battery down as low as on previous cars. Think the lowest so far for me is about 20%; with the range and quick charging to 100% haven't found the need as yet.
Just wondering re others experiences of the LFP, do you notice any power loss at lower %? At 20% I could not detect any loss.
Probably good for calibration to let it down to low single digits now and again, must make an effort..😊

Still waiting for response from AIB on finance but Tesla have said they've followed up with them for an update. Its been with AIB now for over a week...expected turnaround quicker than that.
Someone has answered this I think already but do we know what cables will actually come with the car? Im not sure if my home charger will be in place so may need to invest in a mobile connector kit

That's strange, I would expect AIB would have come back to you. Keep us all updated in case others are also going through Tesla with AIB finance.
We applied for our own car loan through AIB directly using the AIB mobile app, and was approved in a couple of hours and money was received in our account as soon as it was approved. I'm waiting for trade-in valuation atm, which is the only thing left on their checklist before they ask for payment (so I can get car reg for my insurance).
We are also in process of getting quotes & finding an electrician to do an inspection.
Plus trying to distract myself not checking the app for an actual delivery date all the time. 😆
Granny charger is included so if that works for you short term then you are fine.

Got a VIN now in the source code.
Will I need any other cable like a type 2 to connect it the granny charger, or will that be everything I'd need for that option?

Allianz. Been with them the last 5 years from i3 to 3 of my teslas.
We have our 2 cars with them and the smallest engine car gets a discount and that just happens to be the electric 🤣
In fairness, I paid €390 this year in the Model 3 Performance.
Yes...in source code EDD !9th Aug - Sept 2nd..but nothing official from Tesla yet.
My vin is now there.
Can’t speak for the LFP battery but in my 2020 SR+ once you hit 10% & under it starts reducing the power…. You get the little dots like you get on the other side when you don’t have full regen….
All happened the same day for me with the first jammer. Went their and signed a bunch of things, walked out with car.
I signed for the finance too, then got a followup email a few days later about that...but I had the car...which I thought odd.
It is usual that a booking slot is offered around 2 weeks in advance, Usually when all steps have been completed by yourself on your account you will be prompted to make a payment. See attached
