Ok relish is a winner, so good. Grabbed some of the brisket beef burgers in Aldi too with wait for it, caramelised onion seasoning. Amazing 2 burgers in a brioche bun inhaled!
Bought the Ghost Chili and the Scotch Bonnet for a friend. Tried the Scotch Bonnet last night, it wasn't particularly spicy. There was a bit of heat to it but not much. Flavor wasn't great. Was worth a try.
Been looking for this but can't find it in my local Aldi (Sanyford/Beacon). Any chance you or someone else can post a photo of the jar so I can ask in store?
Maybe for the best, they seem to have changed, for the worse imo.
Trying to upload the pic here but it says I have low memory so it won't work, will try pm it to you instead?
Couldn't find any in Terenure today, there was only sweet tomato and red pepper ones, I was actually looking for the jalapeño one - and then I found this in my cupboard when I got home!
(Don't know why my pic posted sideways)
Thank you for the effort, appreciate it.
Thanks, that's really helpful. I know where the sweet tomato and red pepper relishes are so will look more closely there.
I got some of that relish to try, along with the brisket burgers.
Prices have really jumped since I shopped in Aldi two years ago.
Brown Bear IPA used to be under €2 I think, now it's €2.96 The little flavoured tuna cans are up to €1.29 And no canned tuna steak? Chunks only.
Got some basil hummous to try, haven't come across that before.
Yeah!!!!! I found it exactly where you said it would be. It looks like of the selection of relishes in the box the onion sells out quickly which is why there was never any there when I looked, just the other flavours but today there was new stock so grabbed one and about to make some burgers :-)
Thanks again.
The increase in IPA is due to Minimum Unit Pricing which came in a few months ago. The stronger the alcohol content the more units of alcohol per 500ml the more the minimum price has to be by law.
Got the mini chocolate cones out of interest, you would need to eat the box nearly their that small at 28ml each but tasty enough. https://groceries.aldi.ie/en-GB/p-mini-cones-chocolate-12-x-28ml-giannis/4088600382210
We got those too - handy for a little sweet treat after dinner!
Does anyone know if ALDI sell Maxwell House mild blend coffee?
Thanks
Pretty sure it's not part of their regular stock. They sometimes have it in on special - so middle aisles not regular coffee section.

Thank You. I may give a gander later.
I have seen Dealz selling instant coffees, not sure about this one, but worth checking out too if one is near to you.
I wish they would sell batteries for the tools they sell. Bought a few tools ages ago. No batteries, silly me - ah sure they'll be in soon. Months later I ask and was told -- you'd want to be up early to get them!!! Unfortunately Lidl's are not interchangeable.
Thanks for the tip lads & lassies, just picked one up - looking forward to trying it 👍🏻
In my local Aldi they often keep the separate battery packs in the office as loads of them are stolen. Might be worth asking and/or, if you're a recognised regular, asking one of the staff to hold one for you next time they come into stock.
2nd this. Tried it on my smash burger yesterday evening and was delish. Defo a keeper.
Came across a bottle of balsamic vinegar in Aldi, nice bottle I thought and picked it up as ya do…vinegar really excellent on caprice salad. Went back for more but none there…so went on a hunt, Tesco, Dunnes etc etc…no luck, picked up one in Aldi yesterday and it’s exactly the same €3.49 for 250ml bottle, best I could find on Amazon was €60 a litre plus p&p, I’m buying two tomorrow and every day after that, Aldi never ceases to surprise me.
What vinegar was it please?
BB IPA is €2.05
Specially selected Balsamic Vinegar of Modena. Purple and black label, 250ml square bottle. I think it was €3:50 but I’ll check again today as I am going to stock up on it.
Looks like this one €2.49 https://groceries.aldi.ie/en-GB/p-balsamic-vinegar-of-modena-aceto-balsamico-di-modena-igp250ml-specially-selected/4088600107059
Yes it was, thanks for that, picked up another bottle of it today and as you say it’s €2:49 and excellent quality.
I bought a delicious part-baked/bake at home bloomer bread in Aldi a few weeks ago but when I went looking for it today, the assistant told me it was only a 'specials buy'. Is that correct?
Sound.
