Another fire in Moscow
Putins health issue have been around with years and he still alive He jumped down those steps lively enough the other day🤷♂️🤔
They done themselves no favors ,nor have they done any favors for ukraine,
5000 old German Bundeswehr helmets, but paying Putin billions for oil and gas
HIMARS definitely seems to be a factor and appears to have caused havoc to Russian supply lines.
There not easy to shoot down and even if they take a hit they can more than return the favor, they are the perfect aircraft for this conflict, heavily armed ,agile and heavily armoured,
They carry better armaments than their su25s ,the psychological aspect comes into it too ,
They probably got one last push to sieze that nuclear plant and secure the border areas of Donetsk. Not sure what they can do after.
My fear is once they secure the occupied areas they might force Ukraine to the table by via a small nuclear attack on Lviv or a smaller city.
MI6 also think Russians are “running out of steam” and a comment about Putin’s health
The germans have plenty of form. Be in militarily or politically the germans like to get their way
The crew on this tread blame Germany for everything.
You don’t hear Michael Martin or Boris Johnson lambasting the Germans or the Dutch. They never did. The last thing they want is an energy hungry Germany scraping the bottom of the same barrel as ourselves.
I think you over egg the vast majority of your posts on here tbh.
Meanwhile in the real world Saudi is buying oil from Russia so they Saudi Arabia can can supply more of their own oil to America.🤔
similarly Britain and therefore us get some of its gas from the Netherlands and where does the Netherlands get it, Russia
I said this several days ago but was attacked by the Mob here cause Germany is the big boogeyman there
Funny how the world works really
There's a new and as they say improved version on the cards now, although I doubt that's what they would be sending to Ukraine.. but in any case , its cannon and weapons systems will have been updated, giving it even more destructive power. So even if it was only used for selective missions, it would still get the job done, and in Ukraine, every weapon counts. Its very appearance is terrifying, faced head on you can imagine the feeling a diver gets when he is faced with a great white shark. If I saw one or two of them coming in for a strafing run, I'd be getting out of there as fast as I could, not that it would do any good if you were in its sights.
There was that story yesterday how they planned to fake an attack on a HIMARS and it supposedly being destroyed in Ukraine and have it all filmed by Russian journalists, but they were found out even before it happened.
Don't step on the fakes
I assume that training Ukraine pilots on f16s or grippens or what ever is a long term project ? , Something Ukraine would need to preserve a peace ,whenever and whatever that will be ?
Isn't that why the russkies are kidnapping Ukrainian kids ?
The argument to say 'what about what's been going on Donbas/Eastern Ukraine?' doesn't really hold much weight with respect to the kind of actions the Russian military is currently undertaking. From the beginning, it's been pretty plain that Russian objectives stretch far beyond the Donbas, since they first attacked on multiple fronts, with one being tasked with conquering Kyiv. It's always been about taking the whole country or enough of it to render the free part an irrelevance. If it had only been about the Donbas, Russia would have done the Donbas and Crimea together, and there isn't a thing Ukraine could have done about it at that time.
We can look at this through the prism of our own country, because we can understand very well that love-hate relationship with a larger neighbour with many historical chapters. For example, we have the Great Famine that's pointed to as sowing a lasting bitterness against the British that would burgeon into revolution not even a century later. The Ukrainians have Holodomor, which was also a famine in which their neighbour was implicated, only many times worse, and tens of millions of people died. We can go down this historical rabbit hole but ,as ever, two wrongs don't make a right - Ukrainians firing shells into the Donbas over the last eight years doesn't excuse the Russians massacring people in Bucha.
Very sophisticated drone tactics
No need, they can just "borrow" Ukrainians. approx 1m.
Given the population of Russia has been dropping consistently over the last couple of decades and has accelerated since putin's war, the Russians left better start ridin' like it's going out of fashion.
Their plan is to wait out for western populations to die out due to being gay
Near Bakhmut.
There might be an element of posturing towards Russia with it by early doors announcing things that won't have an immediate impact.
As in Russia, if you think you can hunker down for a long war and grind Ukraine down slowly, well you'll be facing an upgraded Ukraine.
They'd do wonders against the tanks and trucks, I just don't think they'd last long in a modern contested airspace.
The talk of F16s or even more modern aircraft is interesting. I hope its not complete smoke without fire.
Let’s be honest. The Christian right(a large cohort of them) have been idolising Putin and Russia for years for fighting the gays and defending Christianity etc. Fox News most watched presenter Tucker Carlson has said he was on Russias side in this conflict multiple times and he and other prominent members of the right globally have been Putin fanboys and parroting his propaganda. The biggest lovers of Putin and Russia over the last 15 years have been from the right not the left. Back in the USSR days it was different(more love from elements of the left) but nowadays Russia under Putin is a right wing fascist state.
To be fair they were designed to work against Soviet era equipment, exactly the types of 60 year old tanks and artillery Russians are using now
There is a wider effort to negate Russian air advantages
The more time goes the better supplied and trained Ukrainians become while the reverse seems to be case for Russians (less training, older and older equipment)
At some point everything tips over, we are already at a stage where Russians are unable to advance
Russians might see westerners as fools
but at end of day they are the ones living in a criminal fascist/oligarchic regime with a weak economy and standard of living well below most of the civilised world.
The real fools are citizens of worlds largest country with most resources who should have a standard of living up there with Norwegians and we’re given a chance and access to markets to reach such a goal, but now are on path to becoming a larger version of North Korea
I'm pretty sure that Georgia are keeping a close eye on what's happening elsewhere in the world where Putin is involved...
If Putin thought that he would get away with full mobilization, he would already have done it...as it is he is frantically trying to keep the Ukraine war death toll to a minimum, not that he gives a damn for Russian or any other Lives, but preferring to use soldiers from the rural areas, and the further from Moscow the better. Its one thing to have rumblings of discontent in the provinces, but in Moscow itself???
