Nearly bought one (1.6 petrol) of those new back in the day. They were a bit of a pudding to drive though.
The spec on the early ones was off the scale for the time, I was at the launch and they were comparing a Stilo to an S-Class in terms of available/standard tech. Most disappointing test drive ever.

Wrong engine. For me it has to be the screaming mivec version with a manual box or nothing.
I think the early 95 ones are the ones to get, not far off classic tax and possibly insurance.
I still miss mine but I don’t have the space for one if I’m honest.

But JoeA3 friend's old m340i saloon of similar vintage in Beshoff's either earlier this year or late last year, was a nicer colour and more reasonably priced, granted Beshoffs wouldn't give you a 2 year BMW warranty with it.
That is a sort of middle range FTO. If I was buying one of those, it would need to be the top performance version ie. FTO GPX Mivec ... or just get a GTO entirely (Saw one recently on the road, what a handsome car 👌)
Is that definitely the same one? I thought it was a slightly different exterior colour but I’m not sure anymore. Was a cracking car, prices have gone way up on them, that would be over €100k to spec new now, but you’d also be getting the lci model now.
Pushing 100k new in that spec, so 72k seems alright really. 2 years old and low mileage.
Yeah it’s the same one, oxide grey with tan merino leather. I saw it in the showroom back in 2020 myself.
