Michael stands accused of blatantly lying to the Irish people.
I get the feeling MacSharry knew well what he was at. Wily old fox.
Could happen yet, is FF spliting in front of our eyes?
All is not well anyway.
Is he positioning himself as a stalking horse. Popcorn time,
I definitely got those vibes from him, he's not got much love for Varadkar or FG in general by the sounds of him, and that "vote buying" admission was a knife in the back of both MM and LV.B
Does this look like a personal account? If not, and the FOI was refused based on a false declaration, is there an avenue by which this can be investigated?
If the account was personal there would be a link to her work account. My personal account has a link to my work account. Ken Fox the journalist is great with FOI's. Why not contact him about it?
It is a personal account and I'm really not sure what your getting at. I know of no FOI mechanism to enquire into the affairs of a Private individual or their Private SM accounts.
I dislike Pippa immensely, she's actually in my own constituency and frankly just laughed at.
TD'S, senators do get allowances for all sorts of things and whilst she uses her personal account to promote her political profile, she could argue she's also doing constituency work.
Her Ministeral / Departmental Account is actually not her account and whilst she has an input into its content (Press releases etc) , its actually managed by her department as are all Government Department websites and SM accounts.
Whilst I can understand your concern about how Taxpayers funds are spent, I think there's far more alarming expenditure going on to be concerned about IMHO.
Meanwhile in the superquango.

Irish Water pays staff over €10m in performance-related bonuses
Irish Water declined to provide a list of the top 20 performance-related payments during the past two years, saying this could identify individual employees.
However, they said the average performance related award among the top 20 staff during 2021 had worked out at €19,171 per person.
That was slightly lower than the figure in 2020 when the 20 staff in receipt of the highest bonuses shared €385,460, or €19,273 each.

Thankfully we did not let Hogan and FG nationalise our water.
Ah lads, pinning your hopes on McGuinness and MacSharry, are you desperate? Those two lads are only behind the Healy-Raes in gombeenness. Only possibility is that they are useful idiots for a real contender (and Jim never been a minister O'Callaghan is not a real contender).
I thought I had seen the limits of some personal obsessions on here, but your trawling of social media tops the lot.
It's all following classic leadership heave lines.
I 'hope' Michael and Leo remain in place blanch, you haven't been paying attention.
You are the boy crying wolf on leadership heaves at this stage, getting excited every three weeks about one.
More than me blanch, the media has given these secretly arranged meetings and statements a fair old outing. And it is these I am responding to.
I will keep doing that despite you trying to shut the conversation down.
I'm not pinning any hope on anyone, he was on the radio this morning and told the nation he was basically promised something if he voted confidence in the govt. And making our Taoiseach out to be a liar in the process.
I think it was around 0925am should you wish to listen back on newstalk website.
There is 'good' lies and 'bad' lies apparently.
We should be asking how many more were bought off and have remained silent about it.
This was MacSharry as well. Make what you will of it.
Mr MacSharry said he has “many issues” with what he argued is the “the autopilot, civil servant-led administration” he blamed on Taoiseach Micheál Martin.
But he also said: “The country will not benefit from a general election at this time.”
TBH what he claims he's been promised sounds like a vague commitment to look at it. If it doesn't happen he'll blame Martin but it will more likely be a HSE decision anyway. Either way he'll look like a TD fighting for the local hospital.
I think at this stage it is weekly, we still have posts about the "secret" meeting which everyone knew about
I suppose it keeps people happy during the hols
McGuinness, ahh McGuinness, wasn't he told before the last election to run as Independent if he didn't want to be part of the FF party? he was asking for Stephen Donnelly to resign recently to get his name into the press.
MacSharry has a gra for a certain opposition party after the last election, it seems he thinks the best option to get himself in with them is slagging off his old party.
There were far more than the two lads at the secretly arranged meeting.
I know more than two lads at the meeting, that's the point, everyone was at it. Hardly a "secret" meeting if everyone is at it
I'm interested in a Minister who in her department is deliberately destroying a sector of the Irish economy, and who claims that her Twitter account is personal, yet who uses it for Government business and to enhance her political work. Anything is fair game in that situation.
God forbid that a TD/Minister should not mix the personal with pure self-promotion! They are very hard to separate when you are a public figure.
Head in the sand post of the year.
Not sure what you think Pippa is doing to "deliberately destroying a sector of the Irish economy"? maybe you could explain
No it is not "fair game". You need to understand everyone is entitled to a personal and professional life. If you think attacking a person over their personal online profile is ok I have to tell you it is not.
And the poor loves are short after we scrapped the meters... They'll always find money for the lads.
Seems yourself and @brokenangel are interested enough to come in and try dismiss it a number of times.
Likely another loudmouth government hack bragging about the goodies he got
You are aware the meters are still in place?
I was speaking on the bonuses paid out to the cronies. How much do you pay for your water meter charges?
I'm not sure it's that clever to be explicitly claiming there was a quid pro quo for his vote. There's supposed to be 'plausible deniability' attached to these 'side deals'. I doubt McSharry's is the first number the whips will be ringing next time there's a tight Dail vote...
So people working in Irish Water now are "cronies"?
Everyone was at it? Michael Martin wasn't there.
