No, he's giving himself chances just not making the putts. That's not choking. It's not like he's scrambling mad for pars so far.
It's a good putt from Rory and another near miss for birdie, but you don't get anything for that, it's another par.

fair but i reckon fold wasnt too far off theres a big surge coming from smith and rory is half passive against it. hes not going to be let stroll to the trophy and hes not reacting.

It's like the saying goes, driving for show, putting for dough. It's no use driving it all that distance, if you can't convert the putts. Rory's got the edge in driving, but Smith is doing miles better with the putter.
Yeah missing birdie putts was his gameplay alright, par his way to victory. As with any player, the aim will be to get into position to make birdies. The putts haven't dropped, it happens.

I have been going for Smith since day 2 he has been playing good golf yesterday he like Rory today nothing happening. So I am happy either way if either are to win.
