The entire country is warzone. Russia is indiscriminate in its attacks. Weapons, soldiers, citizens, houses, infrastructure etc. Everything is a target for Russia as Russia is a mob on the rampage to terrorise Ukraine and it's supporters into submission. Where would you like Ukraine to fight or should they just surrender?
“Missing” are you for real?
The US hit one hospital in Afghanistan in 21 years. According to the WHO, Russia so far hit 200+ hospitals. A few are accidents (missile fail etc), many are not.
Russia is carrying out a genocide, second since Chechnya. This is an evil imperial genocidal empire, a throwback to evil colonial times.
Urals oil price is below 24th February
all other oil indices falling
It’s not about fighting on or surrending.
What is a peace deal with Russia worth? They've already broken a previous agreement, and said they would not invade. A peacedeal would just give Russia a rest to rebuild and take more territory later.
I don’t know how this is going to end but I do suspect NATO will eventually intervene.
My point is that even if the Putin apologists were to claim that the regime was trying to hit military targets, firing missiles into a city centre in the middle of the day is an extremely reckless and dangerous thing to do (and if they hit civilian buildings or kill people, it is 100% a war crime).
Well there we have it, confirmed by Belgrade. Weapons were Serbian being exported under licence to the Bangladeshi government.
We can put the Putinbot USA-sponsored Bangladeshi coup conspiracies in the trash pile with the others now.
Unless the Kremlinites want to theorize that their pals in Serbia are plotting something in Bangladesh now.
If you think that would stop Putin, you are very much mistaken...his only aim is to either take or destroy Ukraine, any way he can. When he is sacrificing Russian Soldiers, do you think that he will care about Ukrainians ( or any one else) ?. Nope. better they fight on.
I know you're well intentioned and I've noticed that others have misunderstood your post.
I don't think that Putin needs even the slightest additional reason to target schools, hospitals, universities, shopping centres, etc.
He's doing it simply to destroy Ukrainian society.
First of all there's lots to sanctions than just oil. Secondly Russia is selling their oil cheaper to the markets willing to buy off them, and look to the pumps. You'll see it's dropping in price. The sanctions ARE hurting Russia.
The entire country is not a warzone. Yes any part of the country could suffer an ork rocket attack but the vast vast majority of the country is back to normal. People are at beaches, BBQ's, restaurants are open etc... in most Ukrainian cities. Ukraine with continued western support will hold the line against the Russians and Putin knows it. Imo Russia will hunker down now and try and defend the land they have taken thus far and Zelenski will be persuaded to accept terms before the American mid terms.
Russians really feeling the HIMAR pain. Forced to relocate their logistic points.
Now if only the UAF could get their hands on the 300km range ones, Russian logistics would be forced back across the border nearly.

The discount price on Russian oil is gone.
Still selling at 33 dollars less per barrell than the Brent global benchmark (as of the 15th)

Uh...
..
Are we supposed to take such pronouncements at face value?
You’re not dealing with some uneducated Babushka. Must try harder.
An interesting article giving lie to the 'limitless friendship' between Russia and China.
All is not well in that particular marriage, despite some of our more outspoken posters spooging their y-fronts at the new axis of autocracy that will apparently bring the liberal west to heel.
The Chinese espionage ring in Russia (mentioned earlier in the thread) is referenced, as well as the low-key arm wrestle over Kazakhstan - and that's one well worth keeping an eye on.
No honour among thieves comes to mind.

I assume the ukrainians will move on to critical rail infrastructure with hi-mars ?
I'd say once the HIMARS have forced Russian ammo dumps and logistic units well back beyond range, the UAF will begin picking off RuZZian positions and command networks. (some evidence this may have already started happening)
Oh, and they might finally go after a certain bridge.
The funny thing is novorossiysk is in ATACMS range too. Muricans need to take the handcuffs off and let Ukraine batter legit targets inside russia.
A Finnish MP said today that selected targets in Russia should 100% be a target for attacks from Ukraine - pointing out that missiles are being fired from inside Russia.
I read that, at the time I was actually wondering if there was a way to knock those bombers down.
The Russian terrorists would certainly have some cheek to complain if Ukraine started hitting back, given what they are doing on Ukrainian soil.
Ukraine could call it some kind of special operation. They seem to be fine.
It's the only thing to do, all's fair in love & war and that.
Happy mh17 anniversary
Yes cause Brent is the standard and Russian oil is cruder if that makes sense.
Russian Urals barrells typically trade at a couple of dollars less than Brent crude due to the quality of its mix. 33-34 dollars is not a couple of dollars, it's a deep discount.
