There is a growing underclass of protestants in Northern Ireland that is the guts of it.

I wouldn't be surprised if there are also more Catholics now that protestants.

Catholics tend to now be more educated and get better jobs than the past.

Thank you, I don't doubt it and I know of some extraordinary places, can't explain it really, just never had the interest to explore, these images of the 12th, sadly a real turn off.

It's kind of odd though taking down an election poster of someone you 'hate', then keeping it in top condition for potentially years to put it on a bonfire.

There would be a lot of pensioners grateful for some of those pallets for burning during the winter.

I can't think of anyone worse or as poorly-educated on Nordren Ireland matters than Katie to moderate this topic..............except Joe of course.

Damien is on the ball largely with his initial comments and appraisal of the overall situation. I think he has a good handle on community relations and culture. For a chap from Louth area, I'm impressed.

Would you not just book somewhere else if some weirdo was asking about your religion?

If she has this all on email (the religion question etc) the Airbnb is in serious bother and rightly so

I'm bored, give her her money back or whatever it is she's looking for. Next caller

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 27,199 ✭✭✭✭Dempo1

Surely Airbnb should be investigating this albeit I'd not continue a booking if some one asked my religion.

"And then we stopped for breakfast rolls, and in the breakfast rolls we had 2 bacon, 2 sausages.................."

Talk about adding in completely useless information to add to a story unnecessarily.

"As an Irish medium teacher and Irish language Officer of her local GAA club, Gemma has a great love for the Irish Language which she sees as belonging to all of the people of Ireland."

Does she use voodoo dolls to instill the Gaeilge? She can believe what she wants, but if she thinks she can shove the language down the throats of all the people of Ireland, she can get lost. Beware the zealots.
