bought a couple of pairs of French Connection, one for myself and one for someone else and was disappointed when they arrived, always likeed that fashion brand but the quality was crap, like something you’d buy off a stand in a sweet shop in Tramore… and they were just in a sleeve, no case OR bag and paid good money for em… one was scratched and went back in person for a refund… not too apologetic.
i got another pair in boots and they were a no name brand yet great quality..
Are Ray Bans worth it, in people's opinions?
yeah.. got a pair about 10 years ago and still solid and the style never goes out of fashion
Take care of them and they'll last years, so worth the price imo.
I find when I pay alot more for sunglasses I look after them better and they last.
I also get cheaper penny's ones for days out, stags ect
Boots, you know they'll be good quality plus solid construction. They usually start reducing them in price around now
I have a few pairs of wayfarer's. Use polarized ones mostly for driving, even in winter, so I'm a heavy user, pairs I have are probably over 10 years old at this stage. They're expensive but as with expensive things you tend to mind them more. Should they cost around €200, absolutely not but what can ya do.

I have a pair of Wayfarer polarized I purchased from the Ray-Ban site a few years back thanks to a link here also. Half price deal. Use them nearly every day. At half price more than worth the price paid, and TBF even at full price too. I take care of them and don't just throw them around.
